Initial Expectations: Seymore normally does a very nice job. I’m really looking forward to this one!

Initial Reaction: It’s different from much of what I’ve seen from Seymore, but doesn’t work as well as I would have hoped.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who thinks sex and drugs don’t mix

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual Seymore has put some very nice effort into the technical aspects. The audio is normally very clear and the balance is normally nicely done as well. The video is also very nice for gonzo porn. It’s nicely lit and Seymore keeps things focused nicely .

Music: None outside of Seymore singing Puff the Magic Dragon during the movie.

Menus: As usual, Seymore has put some nice effort into his menus. The main menu is animated and gives a great first impression. The chapter menu is fairly standard, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a title for the scene.

The Feature

Seymore and Mari are off to Jamaica, land of sun, sand, and best of all, weed! This time around Seymore pretty much captures their time around Hedonism as they relax, party, and of course, get busy.

Scene 1 - Mari Possa and Seymore Butts

After a little fun around the beach, Seymore and Mari hit the hot tub with a couple drinks. It doesn’t take long for Seymore to get his tongue into Mari’s muff. Since a crowd starts to gather, they quit and pick things up a few hours later after enjoying a bit of the herb on the beach. Mari picks things up where they left off by sucking Seymore’s schlong until he pops in her mouth.

This is a nice way to start things out. It’s a very laid back start to the movie but moves nicely. Seymore always has at least a little bit of a feel of reality in his scenes, and that’s what helps this one out so much. It’s hard to find somebody who hasn’t either went aside in the woods or on the beach to get a little or who wouldn’t want to. The action is good anyway, but keeping this so that so many people can relate to it so well only helps this scene out.

Scene 2 - Mari Possa and Seymore Butts

A day or two later, Seymore and Mari find a clearing to get it on in. Mari quickly starts sucking Seymore’s cock before turning around and offering it her pussy. Finally, Mari spins around to take a decent facial.

This is a pretty good scene. As usual, Seymore and Mari have some very nice chemistry as well as very nice energy. Unfortunately the scene seems way too short and left me wanting more.

Scene 3 - Mari Possa and Seymore Butts

After Mari gets her hair braided and Seymore takes a nap, they get it on back in the hotel room. This is another nice scene. It’s fairly short once again, but there’s still plenty of chemistry and a light and fun feeling. The anal is a great addition here, especially since it took a while to build to it.

Scene 4 - Mari Possa and Seymore Butts

This is another nicely done but fairly short scene. Thankfully this one goes on a bit longer and actually has a bit of everything. This makes it one of the best scenes in the movie, and a nice end to the time in Jamaica.

Scene 5 - Flower, Herschel Savage, and Steven St. Croix

Seymore returns home to find Flower taking care of herself with a dildo while watching Herschel and Steven play a little air hockey. After a little small talk Flower has Herschel come over and work her over with his mouth. Steven’s invited into the action a few moments later, and gets his knob gobbled while Herschel eats and then fucks Flower’s pussy. Herschel moves on to fuck Flower’s ass until she squirts, and then lets her taste it while Steven spears her sphincter until she squirts even more. This is a hot scene, and easily the best in the movie! Flower has shown herself to be a girl well worth watching, but this one even goes above and beyond the call of duty for her. She really puts herself at the mercy of the guys, and they push her completely while never looking like they’re taking things to far. It’s an intense, yet not rough, scene with excellent chemistry. This scene definitely ends the movie on a high note!

Jamaican Me Horny is a different feeling movie for Seymore Butts. It keeps the reality feel which works so well in his movies while keeping things much more laid back. Normally Seymore’s movies have a reality show type feel, but this one feels more like a home video of a vacation. It works very well and keeps things very entertaining, but at the same time it might disappoint some people. I know that I was a little disappointed at the sex in most of the feature because, with the exception of Flower’s fantastic finale, the scenes were much shorter than normal and at times barely seemed to qualify as a tease. I also wanted a bit more variety since roughly the first hour and a half of the feature is only Mari and Seymore. Yes, they’re both very enjoyable to watch and Mari does a great job in front of the camera, but Hedonism is known as being a swing resort so it seemed odd to not mix things up a bit more. In the end, this is probably going to be the biggest factor in how much you enjoy Jamaican Me Horny. The more you enjoy seeing Seymore and Mari together, the more you’re going to like the movie.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about two minutes with roughly six seconds per very nice looking framed photo. There’s also a few photos of Mari Possa with a nicely done bio for her. Trailers are included forInternet Tushy, Mission to Uranus, Tushy Bowl 2001, American Tushy 2, Strictly BusinAss, and Poetic Justass. There’s also phone sex crap, website information, and bonus footage.

The bonus footage can be accessed from the Special Features menu or during the movie when Bonus appears in the lower right corner of the screen. Unlike most of Seymore’s movies, this time there’s only extra footage for Flower’s scene with Herschel Savage and Steven St. Croix. Although that seems like bad news, the good news is that there’s over twenty five minutes of footage. You get to hear a little from Flower after the scene as well as learning that there was almost a DP in the scene. As usual you get the uncut version of the scene being shot, which means you get to see Seymore and crew trying to get the shots they want as well as hearing a bit of Seymore. It’s a nice extra that gives you a nice little look behind the scenes as well as how Seymore does things.

Currently, many Seymore Butts DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $28 with several stores offering them for around $20. Rent this one first. It’s enjoyable, but not quite up to what I normally expect from Seymore. Thankfully the technical aspects are nicely done and there’s even some effort put into the extras.

Note to Seymore Butts: It’s nice to see you varying things a little, and this is a good start, but I hope you can vary them a little more than this in the future.
