The First Word:  It's been a while since I've watched a Seymore Butts video, and having caught a few episodes of "Family Business" on Showtime, I figured it was high time to see what his most recent work is like.  Jamaican Me Horny is also my first exposure to his new girl, Mari Possa, the receptionist-cum-porn starlet.

What's It About?:   There's really no preamble to this gonzo video, and it really feels more like vacation footage than anything else.  It starts out with Mari and Seymore right after they check into a resort in Jamaica.  After grabbing a drink, they head over to the jacuzzi, where Seymore sets down the camera and then begins to eat out Mari on the edge of the jacuzzi.  The non-explicit footage is fairly brief as her loud screams bring some unwanted spectators.

The next scene starts out with the two on a fairly secluded beach/cove, where they start smoking a joint (hey, it's Jamaica, mon!).  Then Mari starts to suck on Seymore's joint (which, unfortunately, is now distractingly scarred on its tip) while kneeling in the surf.  When he pops in her mouth, the two realize they have assembled quite an audience of folks on jetskis and boats.

After some pretty uneventful footage of dinner and Mari getting her ass kicked while playing solids & stripes, the two head back to their room for the funniest part of the video.  There she and Seymore prove they are no strangers to the ganja as they make short work of several bowls worth of Jamaican weed.  Afterward, they go to the resort's nightclub, but as it's "Pajama Party Night," they can't get in unless they are wearing either PJ's or nothing.  So Mari strips down to her thong panties, while Seymore goes dressed only in his hat.  After a few minutes of watching Mari dance topless in the club, the video cuts to the end of the evening, when we learn that Seymore won a bottle of booze for being best dressed at the party.  When they get back to the room, Seymore takes a leak (and yes, he shows it) and gets ready for some ass-fucking.  Unfortunately, after the pot and the night of drinking, Mari passes out cold on the bed and Seymore is left all lubed up with nowhere to go.

The next morning, Seymore finds Mari working out in the fitness room, doing topless ab crunches, before she hits the resort's water slide.  The next cut shows the two wandering through the grounds of the resort before they find a semi-secluded garden bench where, finally after 40 minutes, Seymore gets to fuck Mari.  His point of view camera angle affords a nice look at the doggy vag penetration, which causes Mari to shriek loudly ("Shhhhhh!" Seymore chides her).  The pop shot, while not that big, manages to get all over her body.

After Mari gets her hair braided in Jamaican style (a hairdo that I don't care for at all), Seymore finds her on their bed with her ass up in the air.  The two play with each other's genitals while watching the ceiling mounted mirror.  Finally Seymore gets to use his anal lube, as he bangs her backdoor.  I love how he screws her in the ass until he pulls out, spurting all over her body--it sure beats all of these guys nowadays having to jerk off to the finish.  For good measure, Mari finishes with the ass-to-mouth sucking.

The fun in Jamaica ends after a toga party, when the two stop in the courtyard on the way back to their room.  Seymore does his frenzied G-spot stimulation while Mari makes so much noise that someone obviously comes out of their room, and the two have to apologize and beat a quick retreat.  Back in the privacy of their room, there's some more standing missionary vaginal (I think mish and doggy are the only position that Seymore can shoot when he's involved!).  Mari is so loud all the time that I'm never sure when she orgasms, but I think she does in this scene.  Of course, there's some more nice anal before Seymore does another nice spontaneous pop.

When they return home to The Valley, it's no surprise that Flower is naked on his couch, drinking a beer and holding a dildo.  And by amazing coincidence, there are two porn studs there too (Herschel Savage and Steven St. Croix), playing air hockey.  Since Seymore and Mari are all fucked out from their trip, they are content to record the obligatory threesome with video and still cameras.  My biggest gripe of this scene is that the camera's light does too good of a job illuminating the scene, giving us a very detailed view of the stretch marks on Flower's thighs.  Anyway, while Hershel takes both her front and backdoors, Steven fairly aggressively fucks Flower's face.  The main theme of the scene though, is anal and squirting, as the guys take turns pounding her butt, while Flower lets the urine flow freely in the latter half of the scene.  It didn't do much for me, but if you like this staple of Seymore Butts videos, you'll probably want to check it out. 

What I liked: Reefer Madness:  From watching Seymore save a roach for further consumption while getting a BJ to seeing Mari finish off a bowl in two hits, the drug use is the most entertaining part of the video.

Fun in the Sun:  The other cool thing is the fun tone of Seymore and Mari's vacation to Jamaica.  Like I said, it has the feel of a vacation video, even though it's pretty obvious at times that the setups are staged.  Also, although we know that he'll squeeze in the expected number of sex scenes, it's nice that there was a good variety of sex and that it's performed enthusiastically and with a smile.

What I didn't like:  Not My Kind of Butterfly:  If you happen to think that Mari Possa is a sexy Latina, then you'll probably like this video quite a bit.  My only previous exposure was on "Family Business" and they don't show what her body looks like.  Both Lunacy and I liked her boobs, but we both agreed that her pussy left something to be desired.  It wouldn't be a big deal, except that she's the only girl for most of the video.  While Mari definitely has a great attitude, she's just not my ideal type of porn star.

Seymore, Hang it up!:  Regardless of how good a director-performer someone is, eventually, they all retire to just being a director and leave the fucking on camera to someone else.  I think Seymore is at that point; the obscenity prosecution took its toll on his body, and while he still can perform, he's not the young stud he once was.  Seeing the state that his schlong is in now, I think a graceful retirement is the way to go.

The Formula is Getting Weaker:  Tied in with what I just said, the premise of "let's see what can transpire so that Seymore can get another blowjob or fuck another girl up the ass" is getting old.  So is the "let's walk into a room and see a group of friends having sex" setup.  He's been doing that since Shane was in the picture, and many Tushy Girls later, it doesn't look like things have changed.  It used to be that the setups were one of the highlights of Seymore Butts movies, but now they're bordering on insincere and obviously fake.  

DVD Extras:  Jamaican Me Horny has a pretty solid extras package. The standard photo gallery and trailers are there, along with a well-written bio on Mari.  The major supplement is a 26+ minute video of additional footage and behind-the-scenes outtakes from the Flower/Hershel/St. Croix threeway at the end of the movie.  In it, we see Seymore giving direction to the cast, Mari taking still photos, Steven jacking off to keep himself hard, and Flower trying to do a DP (which doesn't work out because one guy pops out when the other one enters her).  It's kind of like a hardcore version of "Family Business" where you can see the naughty bits.

A/V Quality:   Nothing to complain about, maybe one momentary video glitch is all that I noticed.  The picture is bright and properly saturated, and the audio is appropriate for the gonzo genre.  Perhaps the biggest distractions are not technical in nature:  the rapid movement of the camera and Seymore's tendency to zoom in right on the action can be very distracting, especially compared to most "third-person" adult videos.

The Last Word:   I found myself pretty entertained by Jamaican Me Horny, not because of the sex, but rather because of Seymore and Mari's non-explicit escapades, especially their reefer indulgences.  Aside from that, while I enjoyed seeing Mari's little B-cups exposed in public, I don't think she has the talent or the staying power to last in this business.  And honestly, Seymore is getting too old to star in his own videos.  Get this video to see what it's like to stay at an adult resort in Jamaica and have access to marijuana, but don't expect to get aroused by it.
