The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are pretty good for a gonzo movie. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don’t think I heard any background noises. The video is all shot from Seymore’s POV watching everything, and has some of the problems one would associate with it such as a bit of camera shake a few shadows. There’s also a little grain, but that’s about it. For a gonzo feature, this is a very nice looking and sounding feature.

False Advertising:
The cover states a running time of Over 3 Hours, yet the movie doesn’t even run two. While the rest of the industry uses a feature run time to display on their covers, Seymore uses a running time that includes everything on the DVD (and even then normally appears a little stretched). Although this might be technically true, by using a method different than the industry standard he makes his movies look much more substantial than what they are. I feel this is very deceptive and am penalizing the overall score of the DVD a half point because of it.

Seymore also has a claim of 1000% anal. Yes, I know normally there’s only 100%, but one can be fun and creative in their advertising. There’s some debate on the 100% anal claims, but in my mind 100% anal means that every girl in the movie takes it in the ass. If you advertise more than that, and especially if you go ten times that, I go into the movie expecting absolutely no vaginal action beyond warming the girl up, such as pussy eating, or double penetrations. There’s a fair amount of vaginal action here, and because of that I’m penalizing the overall score another half point. There’s nothing wrong with trying to be creative and fun with cover claims, but there is if you do so in a manner than makes the product look like it has something it doesn’t.

Menus:
The main menu is fun and has some nice animation to help it give a great first impression. The chapter menu is fairly standard and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a title for the scene.

The Feature

Alisha starts out the action demonstrating her Sybian for the guys while Marcus works the control. The worst thing about this scene happens shortly after the anal starts. It looks like there’s a streak of blood on Tyce’s cock, and I hate the thought of any performer having that kind of rectal damage. This scene gives Seymore Butts’ Christmas Orgy a great start.

Once everybody exchanges presents, Alisha decides they should move on with party games. They start with “Guess who’s pussy this is” and a blindfolded Tyce sampling each girl and guessing who’s who. This is a darn hot scene with a few minor problems. First, though, the good stuff. 99% of the sex is fantastic! Seymore keeps a nice balance between the four girls and everybody always seems into everybody else. Bobbi does an amazing job with her first anal scene, and Montana has me needing to see more of her as well. My problems with the scene come in with the end of the scene. First, Alexandra just disappears about ten minutes before the scene ends with absolutely no explanation. Also, with the exception of Tyce, the pops suck. You can barely see Marcus’ ball ‘blast’, and although Paul’s is better, it isn’t a lot better. This is a very hot scene that peters out in the last few minutes.

Seymore Butts’ A Christmas Orgy is one heck of a great piece of gonzo porn. It’s basically one long scene, and for being a scene that runs nearly two hours it never drags. Everybody always seems into their partner, and they always seem like they’re having a great time. I’m amazed at the job Bobbi Bliss does with her first anal scene, and just as amazed at how well Alisha keeps things going while rarely getting into the action herself. Finally there’s Montana and Alexandra, who do a great job taking it in each of their holes and pick things up to have the focus on them at just the right time as Seymore moves around. My only problems with the sex were that two of the three pops were very weak and Alexandra mysteriously disappeared near the end. Back on the positive, however, Seymore does an amazing job moving around to capture everybody as they fuck without losing the momentum or heat of the scenes. It’s not an easy thing to do, and I think some of the reason it works here is that he never cuts out the rest of the audio. You can frequently hear the other performers in the background, but not so much that they take over the scene. They’re there just enough to maintain the group feel of the scene, and it works to keep the heat going throughout the entire scene.
