Synopsis:
Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 3 is a vignette style all sex film where there is a brief, essentially plot-less set-up, to each scene before it goes into the sex.

Audio/Video:
Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 3 is presented with a dubbed English 2.0 Stereo track, which works, but not well. The music is better here than in the previous volume that I saw, but the dubbing is still horrible. All of the dialog can be clearly heard throughout the film. Brave has also included the original Russian 2.0 Stereo track as well on this disc but has included no subtitle options.

Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 3 is presented in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.37:1. This is an odd aspect ratio for a film to be released in and could be due to improper framing. Most viewers will never notice that the film is in widescreen since the average television, with over sampling, only shows a picture of 1.37:1 instead of 1.33:1. So on those sets, the picture appears to be in full screen. The picture itself looks good sporting no artifacts, blemishes or glitches in this presentation. The color levels are appropriately set.

Cut Warning:
There appears to be one scene that has been cut from the film for the U.S. release, but I have been unable to confirm this. There is very little information available on this title. I don't know what was contained in the scene or why it was cut, if it was there to begin with. This is based on the box proclaiming that there are six scenes in the film, whereas in reality there are five, an extra scene description on the back of the box and a still on the back of the box that doesn't appear in the film. Bear in mind, I could be wrong on a scene being cut and the box could have some false advertising on it.

Special Features:
The only extra on the disc is trailers for other films by Brave Russian Movement. The available previews are for Russian Cops, Russian Cops 2, Russian Cops 3, Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 1, Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 2, Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 3, Sex Russian Style, Great Russian Sexual Revolution, Beautiful Russian Life, In Labyrinth of Russian Love, Russian Country Holidays, The Russian Girl Photographer, The Russian Sexual Battle on Ice, and Russian Suburbs of Fun.

Navigation:
There isn't a chapter menu available for Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 3 from the main menu, which is unfortunate. There are several chapters in the film itself that not only go to the beginning of each scene but break them up as well. It would be very useful to have a chapter menu for at least the different segments if not for all the chapters in the film. There is a time code for the feature film encoded on the disc.

General Review:
I'm not exactly sure why, but I found myself enjoying this volume far more than I liked the last one that I watched, Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 1. The format to the scenes is exactly the same. There is a brief, essentially plot less set-up to each scene that rarely matters once the scene has started. The style and everything about this film is similar to the first volume, but somehow it worked better here for me.

As for the scenes themselves. The plot to each one is insignificant but they do provide a setting for each scene. The first scene, titled “Pink Indulgence,” follows a lady around as the women she comes in contact with pleasure her. The second scene, titled “Hair Salon,” features a male who picks up a female and she brings him to her hair salon and after giving him a quick trim, he gets some trim. The third scene, titled “Lady Bought a Dog,” features a rich socialite who buys a dog vendor to be her loyal pet. The fourth scene, titled “Culinary Course,” shows how during a course on meat what happens when the students start losing self control and allow their sexual arousal to take over. The final scene, titled “Hotel Romance,” shows two men hooking up with two women they meet at a hotel. One aspect of the film that I wasn't taken with at all were the wipes used in the scenes to go from one shot to another. They look very amateurish and lower the level of the film.

As for the cast and the sex scenes, the cast looked decent here for the most part. Most of the cast members were hit or miss and there was one that I was thankful only had a non-sex role. As for the sex scenes, they are rather different from scenes from American movies. The scenes tend to switch around a lot, which doesn't add to continuity, but makes the scenes seem fresh after one has seen so many of the similar scenes available in American porn. The sexual themes in the film are oral, vaginal and anal sex with lesbianism, hand job, male masturbation, BDSM, S&M, domineering, whipping, hot wax, sensory deprivation, and an orgy. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

The Scenes:
The first scene is presented in four parts. Scene 1.1 brings us two females in a hair salon from some pussy eating. Scene 1.2 brings us one of the females from the hair salon with another female for some more pussy eating. Scene 1.3 brings us the same female again with another female in a bar for some pussy eating. The final part, scene 1.4, brings us all four females from all the parts together.

The second scene features a male and a female for some pussy eating, followed by a blow job. Then they go into the vaginal and anal sex to finish the scene. The third scene features a female and a male for a BDSM scene. As with American scenes of the same nature, this scene features no actual sex but does have domineering, whipping, pussy eating, hot wax, S&M, sensory deprivation and a hand job. The fourth scene features two males and two females. After a quick hand job and some male masturbation the sex starts with a blow job and some vaginal sex with some pussy fingering. Then there is more of the blow job and some more vaginal sex before some pussy eating and anal sex.

The fifth scene features two males and three females for another multi-part scene. Scene 5.1 features a male and a female for some vaginal sex and a blow job which alternates back and forth between the two acts. Scene 5.2 features a different male and different female for a blow job and some vaginal sex. Scene 5.3 brings together the members of the first two parts for a blow job, some vaginal sex and some pussy eating. Scene 5.4 brings all of the occupants of the last part with another female for a blow job, some pussy eating, some vaginal sex and finally some anal sex.

Parting Thoughts:
Although I wasn't too impressed by Sexual St. Petersburg — Chapter 1, I found Chapter 3 to work much better overall. Fans of nasty sex will probably be disappointed by this release along with hardcore BDSM fans as neither is a predominant theme in the film. On the other side, fans of tame sex will probably be disappointed by this release as well since the sex is probably a little harder than what they are looking for. Fans of the median will probably enjoy this, especially if they are curious about BDSM but don't want to purchase a film devoted to it.
