Initial Expectations: What I’ve already seen from this series has been a lot of fun as well as pretty hot. I’m hoping for more of the same here.

Initial Reaction: It’s not quite as good as some of the other episodes, but it still has the same great spirit that makes this a great series.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes fun gonzo porn such as the Shane’s World series and anybody that’s a fan of anybody in the cast

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for a plot or more extreme sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is a little on the soft side, but is very well balanced for the locations some of the scenes were shot at. The video is clear, but does have quite a few problems. The lighting is fairly uneven, and has both shadow and over lighting problems. The other cameramen also find their way into the feature fairly often, which might turn some people off. Luc Wylder has a lower budget style, as does this feature, but this seems a little beyond low budget.

Music: The music is pretty typical porn music, but a little on the softer side and doesn’t always fit too well. It’s normally very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, but doesn’t do much to either enhance or hurt the scenes.

Menus: The main menu isn’t quite as fun as they normally have been for this series, but does include a nice view of the New York skyline (without the towers). The chapter menu includes a small clip of each scene along with a title for the scene and the hot shot button, which takes you directly to the pop shot.

The Feature: The Sex Across America series hits the Big Apple with the episode. Luc Wylder and Alexandra Silk have gathered Adajja, Tyler Wood, Jade Marcella, and Mr. Marcus for some sightseeing around the city, but more importantly, to film a few sex scenes. There’s no real plot to the feature, just a group of porn stars being themselves, having fun seeing the city, and fucking.

The crew gets busy in a New York apartment almost right away. Jade Marcella, a gorgeous Oriental with a great natural body, starts things off skipping any foreplay with Mr. Marcus to get straight to the fucking. They move around the room, but mostly focus on standing missionary. Marcus finishes the scene by decorating her stomach. There’s great chemistry between them, but the heat doesn’t build too much since it’s cut with Adajja, Alexandra Silk, and Tyler Wood taking care of each other. Alexandra sucking Tyler’s cock while fingering her own ass and having Adajja eat and play with her pussy. The girls trade back and forth so they can pleasure both Tyler and each other orally, making sure somebody’s always taking care of Tyler. Their efforts aren’t in vain, as he unleashes a nice pop between them. It’s a fun part of the scene that has some nice heat.

Luc wakes up Alexandra, Tyler, and Mr. Marcus to do the next scene together in the morning. Alexandra starts sucking Mr. Marcus’ monument, appearing to take it almost all the way into her mouth, while Tyler works on Alexandra’s holes from behind her. Alexandra turns around to suck Tyler’s cock and let Mr. Marcus fuck her reverse cowgirl, and amazingly, Marcus looks like he’s having wood problems. Marcus also does a very good job, but it’s Alexandra’s enthusiasm that really seems to drive the scene. Tyler, however, seems kind of dead from the waste up.

Adajja and Tyler Wood, her as of now former real life husband, get busy on a couch. She immediately gets some tongue action on her pussy and a finger for her asshole. The chemistry is pretty average, but there are so few positions and changes here that the scene seems to go on forever. I’m starting to really like Adajja, but she’s done better than this elsewhere.

As usual, Alexandra ends up in the middle of things, but the girls nicely move around to make sure that nobody is left out of the action and that everybody gets taken care of, and just because things move on doesn’t mean that they’re done for that star. Surprisingly, Jade Marcella is pretty tame here once again. Normally Jade has a nasty streak that comes out at the drop of a fly, but she keeps things very tame here. It’s a good scene, although not great, that works due to very good chemistry and girls who appear determined to have fun.

Finally, the girls team up to give Tyler Wood a hummer on a rooftop. The girls work together very well here, with none of the girls being a cock hog. It doesn’t take too long before Tyler lets go with a spew of guy goo between the girls that gets Alexandra on the face and Adajja on the hand. It’s a nice scene to finish the feature off, all in very of the Empire State building.

Sex Across America: New York continues the series pretty well. The sex here lacked a bit for me, which was mostly because Tyler Wood appeared to have both the personality and intelligence of a well used fence pole. He does okay in his scenes, but it’s the girls who really drive this feature. Alexandra, Jade, and Adajja do a great job throughout the feature, and although not every scene is a really great one, they’re all enjoyable. With the exception of Tyler, who looks like it takes all of his concentration to not wet his pants, everybody looks like they’re having a great time throughout the entire feature. Luc Wylder does a great job of guiding the feature, and mixes some good sex with a lot of fun sightseeing around New York City. He helps everybody to come off as real people, and obviously has a lot of love for his features. Sex Across America: New York might not be perfect, but it’s still fun, which makes many of the problems forgivable or for some, maybe even forgettable.

Extras: Many standard extras, such as the ever present website information, is present here as well as some special extras. The slide show nicely offers all twenty snapshots in a thumbnail arrangement. You can select which photo you want from the thumbnails, and blow it up to near-full screen size (which also includes labels for the performers). It’s a very nice way to organize and offer things. Bios are included for Adajja, Jade Marcella, and Alexandra Silk. Each bio includes a little bit of personal information, a still of the star, and a link to some “action shots”. Trailers are included for Sex Across America: 1st Stop Las Vegas, Sex Across America Second Stop: New Orleans, Sex Across America Third Stop: San Francisco, Crystal Dreams, Dinner Party 3 (which later became The Fiesta), Sex Spell, A Midsummer Night’s Cream, Taboo of Tarot, Caribbean Undercover, A Witch’s Tail, A Wolf’s Tail, Watcher, Perfectly Flawless, Devoured, and The Collector.

There are also several interviews included, which last a total of about ten minutes. These are the same interviews that are in the actual feature. Luc Wylder interviews Jade Marcella, Mr. Marcus, Adajja, Tyler Wood, and Alexandra Silk. They talk about talking about the scenes in the feature, their favorite performers, their first adult feature, and a few other things. Jade and Alexandra really come off well for the ladies, and as usual, Luc comes off as extremely real and friendly. Tyler doesn’t come off that well, but that might be because there was something shiny nearby or because he was stressed out over an upcoming urine test that he’d been studying for. Regardless, it’s a nice extra that gives you a little better feel for the cast as people.

Finally, there’s almost an hour of extra footage. There’s isn’t much sex here, although there is quite a bit more flashing and a little more of Alexandra’s masturbation in the taxicab. Much of the footage is dedicated to things such as the cast hanging out and having fun, as well as a bit more of the sightseeing. Occasionally the group is recognized, and it’s kind of nice to see how well they treat the fans. There’s also some of the behind the scenes stuff, such as getting the locations ready for shooting. It’s a nice addition to the feature that should please people who see the cast as real people rather than just fuck monkeys.

Overall: Normally episodes in the Sex Across America series can be found online for between about $10 and $25 with many offering them for a little under $20. Unless you’re a fan of some of the cast, I don’t know if I’d pay much more than $16 for this one. The sex is fun, but isn’t always extremely hot. The transfer is pretty good, but has a few problems that might irritate some people. The extras are very nice, with the behind the scenes footage really making a great extra.

Note to Adam & Eve: A little more care in the editing would have helped this one, as most people are not impressed by seeing the cameras on screen. Although this series has had it’s up and downs, I hope you continue to bring it out and around the country.
