The Second Coming of Eva is a really fun Swedish classic adult film. Eva (Teresa Svensson) is caught masturbating by her sister Elsa (Kim Frank). Elsa sends Eva to a private school for moral and aesthetic instruction. Meanwhile, Bo Goldenrod (Rune Hallberg) must improve his moral values to receive an inheritance, so he converts his house into a school for moral and aesthetic instruction. Elsa sends Eva to Bo's school, which is anything but moral. Roderick Elliott (Jack Frank), a lawyer for the Goldenrod family, starts sneaking around the school to see if Bo's school is the moral institute he presented it as.

The Second Coming of Eva doesn't have a lot of plot, most of the actual story is set up in the beginning with Eva and Bo's stories and after that point only the most minimal amount of story to keep the film going shows up. In the case of The Second Coming of Eva, this isn't necessarily a bad aspect. Once the Roderick enters the story, the film turns to slapstick humor to drive the film. The humor is done well and integrated well with the sex scenes so the film ultimately works.

Mac Ahlberg has filled The Second Coming of Eva with sex scenes. The sex scenes work well with the story and with the humor in the film. None of the sex scenes is too long, nor are they too short. The cast is energetic and the sex is lighthearted. The cast looks good although there are some hairy armpits on display. The film looks good in general. Ahlberg has a great cinematic eye and The Second Coming of Eva resembles the look of a mainstream film more than an adult film.

As long as you go into The Second Coming of Eva looking for a fun and humorous adult film where the plot doesn't matter a whole ton, you will enjoy this film a lot. If you go in looking for more than that, you will end up highly disappointed.

Impulse Pictures has done a good job with their release of The Second Coming of Eva. Only the original version of the film is included on this release, which means that the French re-edit Allez les Filles with additional footage shot just for that release with André Chazel and Dominique Saint Claire isn't present, unfortunately. The Second Coming of Eva is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 480p. The print used has print damage, artifacts, and grain. The colors in the film look very nice.

The Second Coming of Eva is presented with a Swedish Dolby Digital 2.0 monaural audio track, which sounds nice. The dialog is clear and can be heard throughout the film. There are removable English subtitles available for the film as well.

Impulse Pictures hasn't included any extras on the release.

The Second Coming of Eva is a fun and humorous Swedish adult film that spends more time with the sex and humor than it does with the story. The film looks nice and is an enjoyable film to watch. Impulse Pictures has done a good job with their release of the film.
