The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is good, but not quite as good as I normally expect from Smash. It's nicely balanced once the music drops out, but there are a few minor background noises as well as a comment or two from behind the camera that you can hear. The video is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen, and looks very nice. The lighting is just on the edge of being a touch dark, but for the locations works well. There's a touch of pixelation, but it's not too noticeable.

Music: Each scene starts with a bit of hard rock music as the girls put on a show for the camera. It disappears during the action to return at the end each time.

Menus: The main menu works through the nicely done shots of the girls from the cover along with a little animation for a good first impression. The chapter menu nicely gives you the cover shots of the girls with their names to let you choose their scene. There's also a positions menu to let you go directly to specific sex acts such as blowjobs, anal, or cumshots.

The Feature

Zak Wylde breaks free of the typical nurse fetish movie with Registered Nurse. Rather than go through a horribly cheesy hospital opening or anything like that for each scene, he instead lest the girls show off for a bit in their nurse's outfit and then go through a very quick lead-in to keep things as strokeable as possible before moving quickly into the sex.

Scene 4 – Isabella Pacino and James Deen

Maybe my having that nurse fantasy for years clouded my judgment a bit, but I couldn't help but really like Registered Nurse. Zak Wylde has been doing a very nice job with his occupational themed releases for Smash (Naughty Nanny and Secretary's Day preceded this one) and he keeps up his streak here while continuing to show improvement. I like how he breaks away from the lead-in with a fair amount of story to just get to the sex, and replaces it with a little tease instead. He also does a nice job playing around with the lead-ins rather than having them all with the nurse taking on the doctor or patient. There isn't really anything new or wildly different for the sex here, but the chemistry is strong in every scene and there's plenty of anal action with four of the five girls taking it up the ass. As for a complaint, all I can say is a few of the scenes got a touch dark for me where it started to interfere with the action slightly for me. That said, it's a minor complaint because I was still able to really enjoy each and every one of the scenes. If you ever have a fantasy about nurses, you definitely need to check out Registered Nurse.

This behind the scenes featurette isn't as complete or good as many of Smash's other behind the scenes featurettes, but it still adds nicely to the overall DVD.

That said, Smash does put some nice effort into the overall DVD by once again including a nice little behind the scenes featurette. This is a hot and fun DVD.
