Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is mostly done in voiceovers, which is nothing new with Private as their moves are normally done this way in several different languages. Most of the sex audio, however, appears to be real rather than piped in. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very good. The picture is clear with a very solid hand on the camera as well as great care towards the lighting.
The Movie:

The story isn't bad, and the cast is good looking. The sex is solid, and with a big feature like this, there's a lot of care and effort put into the production values. Visually, this is a killer movie from start to finish, whether it's during the sex scenes or the story sequences. The sex was a little light at times compared to what I normally expect from Private, but there is some decent chemistry here. Unfortunately, the style of the movie really holds it back. The entire movie is basically narrated by the father of the family. I can understand it being done this way with how Private is marketed to so many different countries in Europe as well as the USA. Financially it makes great sense. Unfortunately it also gives the movie an extremely choppy and clunky feeling that really held back the entire movie for me and left My Stepmother Is a Vampire as a major case of style over substance. There's a heck of a lot to like about My Stepmother Is a Vampire, but unfortunately having the entire movie revolve around voiceovers held it back to the point that it ends up being a movie where you have a great sense of what it wants to be but rarely ever see it get there despite an obviously impressive budget.

As usual with Privates releases as of late, all you get for extras are a few language options and a few trailers.
