Welcome fans to a dvd from Elegant Angel that has all the makings of a star maker with Jessie Andrews taking on the title role in this story of a call girl who has a checkered past and is struggling to come to grips with it as this story unfolds. Will Jessie be able to confront these demons and vanqueash them for good, we'll just have to wait and see as this show progresses. Judging by the looks of the cast with only two other girls Jessie will have to carry the story pretty much by herself and I imagine a great deal of the sex too. Let's find out.

The story begins with Elle, that is Jessie's character, doing her first visitation- a shrink and she is asked where she's from. There's not much to tell Jessie begins which usually leads to a whole lot to tell. We are taken to a desert landscape with Jessie in the shot walking along as she tells the doctor about her life. It is a tale worth listening to but one that I think would be familiar to a lot of people. Shots are worked in of Jessie staring out to the desert, Alec Knight is mixed into the shots also with Jessie also shown bloodied in a bathroom stall but later she and Alec are lying with their eyes intently staring into the others so this seems quite bizarre. It would seem Alec beat her up one to many times but Jessie gets the final revenge taking the secret money he has saved and this allows her to take off for the big city where we see her again walking along a busy tunnel sidewalk, cars streaming by, the hustle and bustle where Jessie can easily lose herself. As the night unfolds we see Jessie join in with a few other girls, ladies of the night if you please.

Jessie Andrews:

Jessie does get picked up by Eric John and we get our first sex of the show. Jessie looks great dressed in black and she gets right to work on Eric's cock. But the music playing is very somber and we see her mood also start to change while watching the movie so even this small escape won't suffice to keep the big bad world out of her life if even to see a movie. Jessie is great here with the facial expressions which tell the story along with the appropriate mood music. The movie has Jessie going back to her desert home where her mother, Darla Crane, is not the best mother giving Jessie grief about her father dying and we also have Eric Swiss there but he seems interested as much in Jessie as in her mother so this home life situation wasn't good at all.

Jessie:

Back to the present and Jessie receives a call for a gig and this one requires some role playing from her which costs more, we hear the figure $2,500 so some serious money. Jessie arrives at the house and the maid shows her to a container that should have everything she needs. We hear part of the conversation the two had which we heard earlier but now with missing parts such as Jessie telling Alec both she and he know that he didn't hit her but the police won't care so the only way to resolve the situation is for him to give Jessie all the money he'd been saving and she would leave and of course that's what happened. Jessie then goes back to the jewelers and I guess she took the bracelet rather than buy it earlier and she returns it with the next shot being of her on the open road and I think she's heading back home to make things right with Alec. She makes it to his place and the two do talk but there is no happy romantic ending but there isn't outright hatred either from Alec. I think he just wants to take time and see what happens but at least Elle returned his money. Images then flash off all the encounters she has had in this movie and it's back one last time for a visit to the docs and Jessie seems to be finally in a good place, resisting the urge to smash it all down. Take it one day at a time-- pretty sound advice for us all.

Extras & Final Thoughts:

Well fans if you aren't a fan of Jessie Andrews you should be after watching this movie. She is the driving force from the first scene to the last, lots of dialogue, facial reactions and of course fucking--- all dependent on Miss Andrews who proves more than up to the challenge. It is quite a journey she goes on and it doesn't start we learn in the end with the best of intentions as she basically blackmails her boyfriend into giving up his money so she can go on this journey of self discovery. Several encounters later and some therapy session mixed in Jessie seems to be a some sort of balance. We don't know if she'll stop the call girl lifestyle or if that she'll get back with Alec Knight but the self defeating behavior seems for the moment to be put on the back burner and Jessie is determined to make the best of it, one day at a time she says. The extras come on a separate disc and one you see if the chance to watch the movie in its entirety with no sex in it. Under DVD Extras you see a massive amount of content. There are featurettes which include an Elegant Angel podcast with Jessie and Katie St. Ives, an interview with Jessie and some behind the scenes. I'd give a look see to all of them to see some of the motivation she had for this project, it was massive and I think the results will speak loudly come Jan when she's nominated for Best Actress at the AVN awards and should be considered a fave I think for this performance. There are two Jessie bonus scenes and each is with another girl-- Julia Ann from Teach Me and with Asa Akira from Party Girls. We only saw Jessie do cock in this so a nice chance to watch her enjoy some lesbian sex. You also get deleted scenes and some outtakes from this show. What can I say after all this, Elegant Angel has swung a big bat here and hit a long fly out of the park. This movie should be remembered for Best Movie too come next Jan, well done Team Elegant Angel and director/ writer Graham Travis.
