A Piece Of the Action (Arena) Review

A Piece of the Action is a movie by South American Pictures, which means all the guys have fabulous tans and speak Portuguese. And since there are no subtitles, it's nearly impossible to figure out what the plot is. But I'll give it my best shot.

The Plot
This movie seems to be the all-male porn version of Frankenstein. We start off with a mad scientist working in his lab, his monster creation laying on a table under a sheet. Another guy comes in and seduces the mad scientist, while some very American honky-tonk music plays in the background. Bizarre! There's some oral and some fucking, and the men are both decently attractive (but then I like guys with darker features).

In the next scene, a guy wanders into the scientist's lab and pulls the sheets off the monster, who turns out to be just another Brazilian guy wrapped up in bloody bandages. The intruder starts feeling up the monster, and then starts sucking his dick. What would motivate him to do this is beyond me, but then maybe I missed some important pieces of dialogue. Again, some weird music plays in the background. This time it's more like a Hawaiian steel guitar. We get some oral action, and then the monster fucks the intruder. The monster then wanders away from the lab, still wrapped in his bloody bandages.

The third scene is just 2 other guys having sex. Not sure how this fits into the plot at all, but they're both pretty cute. One has a hairy chest and a big, hard dick. The other guy seems to have a tough time getting fully erect though. The guy with the hairy chest fucks the other guy, and it ends up being my favorite scene of the movie. In fact, I'm so turned on by the hairy guy that I go back to the credits at the beginning of the movie just to find out his name, which is Dhems Matarazo. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of him!

In scene four, the monster has wandered into the jungle and spies on 2 guys having sex. These guys seem a bit younger, although one does have a slightly hairy chest. In fact, I think I've seen pictures of him on the internet and I decide I find him quite attractive. The other guy is also cute, but definitely more of a twink. Same formula as the other scenes here: oral, followed by anal. After that, the monster wanders back to the lab. And that's the end of the movie.

Overall Thoughts
I have to give credit where credit is due: the camera work and production values in this movie are excellent. And it tries to be creative by having an actual plot, even though I couldn't always follow it. The men are attractive enough and the sex is satisfactory, but honestly I think the only reason to check this one out is if you're really into Brazilian guys. Or if you like a little but of horror mixed in with your porn.
