Pain 5 Review

Review

As both a lifestyle Domme and natural sadist I was looking forward to reviewing Pain 5, although I had no idea what to expect. The sets are low budget as they use pretty well whatever is available and the camera skill is handheld and shaky—yet the picture quality is good. The scenes are all brightly lit, the dialogue clear, the music (what there is of it) non-obtrusive.

Scene 1: Africa and Jamie Gillis

This scene starts out with Jamie—a curly headed Jewish guy in his 40’s with a beard and moustache and flabby body—humiliating Africa as he slaps her face and tits. Africa—as her name suggests—is a Amazonian black woman, with long dark hair, very large natural breasts and a pretty face. Africa is crying, supposedly because she is fearful of what is to come. Jamie reminds her that the name of the film is pain, and pain is what he is going to give her. He grabs her tits, smacks them hard and pinches them, and then tells her to hold them up as he flogs them. Jamie continues to verbally abuse her, calling her “stupid” as he makes her get down on all fours. At this point, Africa turns on him and starts to give him a bit of his own medicine. Africa grabs the flogger from Jamie and begins to smack him with it, then tells him to get down on all fours so she can smack his “prissy, sissy ass”. Africa continues to humiliate him and smack him around, crush his head between her thighs, smack him with her tits, pinch his nipples, all for the “entertainment value of the movie”, she says, making Jamie eat the exact words he used on her earlier. She spits in his face, then sits on it, all at Jamie’s suggestion, proving he is just as much as masochist as he is a sadist and she is an African Queen.

Scene 2: Jasmine LaCruz and Serena Tudor

Jasmine provokes Serena’s wrath by washing her hands with leather hand cuffs on, an act that Serena must punish. Both ladies are petite and brunette, Jasmine wearing a leopard print short dress and Serena in a black latex bustier and garter. Serena forces Jasmine to bend over the counter, lifts her skirt and flogs her ass. She then yanks her by the hair and flogs her tits, before making her kneel on the floor. Serena then pulls Jasmine over by the hair as she sits and tells her to worship her shoes. Poor Jasmine just can’t win, and even though she is completely obedient, she doesn’t do it the way she is supposed to. For that, she is put in the corner and flogged once again, and chastised until she weeps quietly.

I really enjoyed this scene a lot as there was a familiarity and chemistry between them. My only problem with it, was that Serena flogged Jasmine repeatedly on the middle of the back, near the spine, kidneys and tail bone. It don’t know if she was just unskilled, uninformed or both. But, I was concerned that she could have been truly injuring the girl as well as demonstrating a poor and potentially dangerous technique that others may copy.

Scene 3: Kaylynn and Mike Metropolis

This scene begins in an outdoor patio with Kaylynn—a young lady in braids and a school girl skirt—who asks her partner Mike what he bought. He reminds her as she eyes the flogger, rope and clothespins, that she wanted to spice up their sex life. He orders her to hop up on the bar, pulls up her skirt and flogs her ass. His whips become increasingly harder, as he keeps asking her if they hurt, until she ends up crying. And, once the dam is broken, it just won’t stop. He makes her suck a dildo like a soother and she cries. He humiliates her and she cries. He flogs her ass—she cries. Her tits—she cries. Puts clothespins on her nipples and she really cries. (Incidentally, clothespins on the nipples are not half as painful as they look!) She cries and cries and cries until her nose runs. She even cries when he does nothing to her and he has to remind her that he isn’t hurting her. For all of the tortures (except the clothespins) Kaylynn says she enjoys it, yet her body language says the opposite as she cringes at every smack. And still she cries and cries until he stuffs her panties in her mouth—which only muffles it slightly. All the while, planes take-off and land somewhere in the distance, possible taking in the show below.

This scene was freaking annoying with Kaylynn crying the whole time. Her tears were not tears of joy or relief, or even cathartic. She didn’t seem to enjoy it one bit, despite her affirmations, and because of that the scene was a put-off.

Scene 4: Mary Stuart and Jamie Gillis

Jamie comes back to finish what he started in scene one and show everyone what a real sadist he is. Mary—who resembles a heroine addict aged beyond her years—initially puts up a protest, struggling against Jamie as he pulls her hair then puts her over his knee and spanks her. We learn that she has been sent to him to train, because it turns out that she is a SAM (smart-ass masochist) in need of serious discipline. Mary bites and kicks and smacks him back.. Jamie—living up to his reputation—continues to beat and humiliate her brutally until she can’t fight him anymore, kicking her when she is down and stepping on her. And still in the end, even as she weeps, her look is one of defiance.

Overall, this film was well-done and realistic (except for scene 1 which was more playful). The pain the masochists received and the red welts and flog marks were definitely real. You could tell by the sound of the impact on the flesh that these players were not just in it for show. Included with the pain was an equal measure of humiliation and D/s (domination and submission). Like it says on their website: “Redboard is reality fetish at its best.”
