“The Over 40 Crowd” is one of VCA’s four-hour compilation videos that came as a bonus with “Over 40 MILFs”, although you can also buy it separately. I suggest doing the former.

Now the good thing about this video is that they don’t play around with the title. It is what it says it is… a compilation video featuring women who are over 40. They don’t try to sell this as a MILF video. It’s just about women who are over 40… and some of them don’t even look like they’re close to that age!

Okay, so the first things you have to deal with once you pop the disc are a couple of forced trailers. The first forced trailer is SUPER-long, and I was reaching for the skip button quickly.

Once you do get to the main menu, it’s a very simplistic menu, and one that doesn’t allow you too much time to stick around. If you do nothing, your player will start the feature video automatically for you. You had best know what you want to do with this video first and then click pause once you make your choice if you’re not “ready” to see it yet.

The lead-in title is extremely simplistic. In fact it is probably something that a friend of mine can cobble together in his sleep. But then again, we’re dealing with a compilation, and all of this is just filler for the rest of the scenes.

“Lady Luck” – Helen Duval, Rock Stalloni, Peter North, and Marc Davis

Here’s a modest suggestion from a not-so-humble reviewer: if you’re plugging a compilation video to be four hours long, it would be better to be slightly OVER that length of time than it is to come up short.

In terms of extras, we have four individual trailers that you can either view one at a time or one after the other. These trailers do not include the two forced trailers, which really should have been put into this section so we wouldn’t have to deal with them. There’s also both a static plug and a trailer for VCA Pictures’ website.

My biggest complaint about this video, besides the forced trailers at the beginning, is the overabundance of all-girl scenes, especially from the “artistic” releases. Some of the scenes were pretty much hit-and-miss in terms of action, and you have to wonder if the scenes were just selected at random. There were a few surprises, though, and I was pleasantly surprised to see some classic ladies in action such as Ginger, Shanna, and Ona.

All-in-all this was an okay video. It would be preferred if you could get as part of a package deal such as I did when I got “Over 40 MILFs”, or if you get this on the cheap. Even for a four-hour compilation, paying over $15 for this video is too much. There is a little bit of variety in the various scenes, so aside from those who are into a little of the Viagra violence, there should be some stuff for everyone.
