New Breed (Pleasure) Review

It's really hard to pass up a porn bargain, and Pleasure Prdouction's New Breed is definitely a bargain. Despite the fact this DVD is as good as just about any wall-to-wall offering out there, you can often find copies at discounted prices. Whatever your favorite retailer is asking for it though, it's money well spent.

New Breed, shot in east coast high rise apartments and hotel suites, escapes the familiar look of the traditional porn valley studio shoot. In it, director Jules Jordan has put together six unconnected scenes with five eager women. Among them are pre-Vivid contract girl Devon (billed here as Devin Striker), Leanni Lei, and Leanna Hart. There's a lot of talent here for the porn watching novice to discover.

I've had a soft spot in my heart for Devon since I first saw her. She inspires in me the same kind of lust Candie Evans once did when I first started watching these kinds of movies. She stands just over five feet, but trust me, she does not look like an immature little girl. Yes, she has an innocent looking face, but there's no denying Devon has a woman's body. She is stunnning. After squirming around on a dining room table for a few minutes, she finally serves herself up to Joey Hammer. Together, they fuck on the table, on the balcony, in the master bedroom's four post bed, and on the floor. If you've never seen Devon in action before, you really should. I wouldn't call her a wild animal, but she knows how to use her body, and Jordan knows enough about what's sexy to occassionally focus his camera on her pretty face- -the same face, by the way, which eventually gets covered in Hammer's ejaculate.

For Howard Stern fans, the second scene is of particular interest as it stars Leeana Hart. Leeana is the girl Howard recently hid in New York on Halloween for a contest in which the first listener to find her would get to have sex with her. Kind of like an easter egg with a vagina. But this is no desperate skank looking for attention. Leeanna is a fit, well tanned, sexy brunette who definitely provided one lucky winner a first rate prize. Here, she provides her body to Joey Hammer, who really hit the jackpot with this movie's casting. Leeana is an intense and very vocal performer. Hammer takes advantage of her skills and does her in a about a half dozen different positions before delivering an extremely healthy pop to her face. Well done.

In the Greek myth of Galatea and Pygmalion, Galatea the artist falls in love with one of his statues who the gods bring to life. Had Galatea created a sex doll instead, the end result would not have been the animated Pygmalion, but Leanni Lei. It doesn't take much imagination to think of Lei as a doll brought to life. Greek mythology lessens aside, this is yet another hot scene with Joey Hammer providing the woodwork. Lei would look sexy just sitting still, but she is a very active particpant here. Together she and Hammer fuck in a variety of positions with New York's Time Square just below their highrise window. And just like that other classic Greek story where Oedipus plucks out his own eyes to amend for past sins, Hammer culminates his lust by cumming in both of Lei's eyes with sharp shooter accuracy. Maybe the Oediups metephor doesn't really hold up, but the end result is the same. Our hero (or heroine) is blinded by mortal human desires. For those who prefer the Cliff's Notes version: She's a hot fuck who looks real good with cum on her face.

Deeana is a curvacious blond with a dirty mouth. A mouth that will get considerably dirtier after Hammer and Jordan get through with her. At first, I didn't expect much from her, but Deeana has made a believer out of me. She's got a sexy body and a try anything attitude. Jordan steps from behind the camera and takes her himself. They genuinely seem like they're into each other. I wouldn't be surprised to learn this is not the first time they've induldged each other sexually. After a few positions and a lot of profane verbiage, Jordan finishes her off with a messy facial. But she's not done yet. She's called back for an encore performance with Hammer who is treated to a solid blow job.

Lastly, we meet Harley Raine in the only segment of New Breed that could be classified as a dissapointment. Maybe that's because the bar has been set so high. I just didn't find her to be that attractive. Yet, she does her best to compensate by going the anal route and being as nasty as she can. Still, this is not a grand finale, just a finale.

As for extras, you'll get a photo gallery and trailers for eleven Pleasure Production DVDs. I always like trailers; they're kind of like quick, free porn. That's it, but the video and audio is clear enough which means you get quite a bit for your porn dollar. Not often, but every once in awhile, you can find a diamond in the rough, and New Breed is one of them.
