The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done and every bit as good as one has come to expect from Digital Playground. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. It's smooth, clear, and well lit, but the editing is a bit rough at times.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu works through an opening credit sequence before settling in on a pair of stills with a little background animation for a pretty good first impression. The chapter menu shows some nice effort and lets you choose a scene based on several clips from each scene, a chapter number that doesn't correspond to the chapter numbers in the movie, and the name of the girl for the first chapter in each scene.

The Feature

The Evil Ninja has come up with a plan to take over the world through subliminal messages on an adult website. Yes, there are setups for every scene as well as a loose plot for the entire movie, but it's done so well and with such a fun feeling that it's hard to think of it ever getting in the way of the sex. Every scene put a smile on my face, and most of them had me laughing out loud. That might be a bad thing if the sex can't keep up with it, but the sex is every bit as enjoyable. There's great chemistry in every scene and the entire cast looks like they're having a lot of fun from the first moment of every scene right through the pop shot. The only complaint I can really make about Naked Aces 5 is that the editing is a bit rough and choppy at times with the editing cuts being all too noticeable most of the time. That said, this ends up being a fairly minor complaint and one that's easy to look past with how enjoyable the rest of Naked Aces 5 is. If you're looking for an adult film that hasn't forgotten how fun sex can be, look no further than Naked Aces 5.

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. This one's well worth the money. The setups are funny, the sex is fun, and the entire movie feels like everybody involved with it was having a great time. The technical aspects are good despite the editing being a little rough, and there's some nice care put into the extras with a fun behind the scenes featurette. This is a very good release that's definitely worth checking out.
