The Movie

My Tongue is Quick is a one day wonder that stars John Holmes as Nicky Butane, who runs a stud service in a marina on a boat. Thunder Balls and James Blonde are his two studs. The three spend the day servicing the women looking for their services.

The plot for My Tongue is Quick is just plain awful. Most of the story is told by Butane through narration. The dialog for the narration is horrible as well. Many of the character names are ripped straight out of James Bond, despite this not being a spoof of spy films. The film was also obviously shot on the extremely cheap side. Almost the entire film was shot on the boat, with a little footage on the boat slip. The phones used are children's toy phones, which is actually acknowledged by the film. And Butane possesses a kaleidoscope x-ray device that can see through walls.

My Tongue is Quick is basically several loops, which all take place at the same place, stitched together with the mess that is called the plot. The film would have been far better if it had just been left as loops without trying to apply the plot. The sex scenes do look good and aren't horrifically shot and the female cast looks good, better than the male cast does. That isn't enough to make this mess worth watching though. My Tongue is Quick is an easy title to skip.

The Edition

Caballero has done a decent job with their release of My Tongue is Quick. My Tongue is Quick is presented in the academy aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The master could have been a film print or could have been a video tape that was in good shape. The image contains a soft picture, artifacts, and print damage. Colors are represented nicely throughout the film.

My Tongue is Quick is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 monaural audio track. There are no noticeable issues with the audio track and dialog is clear and easy to hear at all times.

Caballero has skimped on the extras here. There is just a photo gallery on the release. The box promises a never before seen John Holmes interview, which is not present anywhere on the release.

Final Thoughts

My Tongue is Quick is an unremarkable one day wonder that has a horrible plot but some nice sex scenes. My Tongue is Quick was obviously made as cheap as cheap can be and the entire film takes place in a boat and on its slip. Caballero has given the film an unremarkable release as well with a decent transfer but is missing the key extra listed on the box.
