**Note – This review is based upon a VHS version of the film. As such, any bonuses haven’t been given a rating here, and there could be some discrepancies between this version and other releases. (Namely, the Jessie St. James fisting of Sharon Kane is implied here but not shown, and the sexual content of the sequence between Sharon Kane and Larry Davis is omitted. These--at least in part--are available in the gamelink.com version found in "Desiree Cousteau Triple Feature", though the digital quality is bad. I can't speak for the DVD release of the same.)**
Review:
When her boyfriend and co-workers fall into the clutches of an evil, intergalactic empress who's hell bent on universal conquest, it falls upon Ms. Magnificent to put a stop to her nefarious plans. Relying as much on her pussy as her superpowers, the young heroine braves both foe and fuck alike in a valiant attempt to save the day. Such is the case in "Ms. Magnificent", an exceptional 1979, sci-fi release from Joe Sherman that features the awesome "Betty Boop" of porno past, Desiree Cousteau. Originally titled "Superwoman", this film had all references to the DC Comics property removed in its most common iteration. This includes blacked-out logos and the occasional silencing of certain words. Nevertheless, this doesn't get in the way of enjoying the flick, and it remains a fun and filthy endeavor that is sure to please both fans of superhero parodies and the Golden Age alike. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner! Check it out.
In terms of the sex, Desiree Cousteau (as Ms. Magnificent) uses her sexual prowess--as opposed to her superhuman powers--to save Joe Sherman's life as he's about to commit suicide by jumping to his death from a tall building (Scene One). Desiree definitely gives him something "to live for", as she offers up her beautiful body to him to do with as he will. Not one to pass up this kind of second chance at life, Joe nails her and ultimately unloads all over her back and ass out of doggy. So hot!
In Scene Two, which is intercut with the next sequence, a reporter from Desiree's work, Holly McCall ("Lois"), who's in search of Ms. Magnificent's kidnapped boyfriend (Larry Davis) finds herself at David Morris' apartment. In order to help her, he expects a form of payoff...of the sexual variety. Fortunately for him (and the viewer), Ms. McCall is interested in progressing her career, and she immediately strips down, drops to her knees, and begins to suck him off. A rough oral, vaginal, and anal fucking follows, with Holly as horny as she is hesitant. She takes a load to the backside in capping off this carnal encounter. Wow!
Scene Three finds Desiree Cousteau, as her reporter alter ego, captured by two space goons, Jesse Adams and Vernon Von Bergdorf, as she investigates their landed ship. Desiree determines that the best way to get what she wants is to give it up to the dudes, which is exactly what she does. In Scene Four, the evil, intergalactic empress, Jessie St. James, seeks out another reporter at the newspaper, Mike Horner ("Clark"), to whom to recite a ransom note about Desiree's boyfriend. Of course, the fact that she sits upon his desk, legs spread and sans panties, is more than a bit distracting to poor Mr. Horner...and even more so invigorating...and it isn't long before he loses control and takes her right there in his office. Jessie St. James, Liza Dwyer, Holly McCall, Sharon Kane, Starr Wood, Mike Horner, Jesse Adams, Freddi Nobodi, and Vernon Von Bergdorf all mix it up and press their flesh in this wild merry-go-round of a romp. Sharon brings a guy to a pop with her hand and mouth, as does Jessie, and Starr takes a load on the tummy in finishing off this fun and funky group-fuck. Awesome.
In all, this is truly an exceptional superhero parody, on the order of--or even better than--many of the more recent offerings on the market. Fans of the genre, the Golden Age of porn, and / or Ms. Desiree Cousteau are highly encouraged to check this one out. It's worthy and then some.
