Matt and Khym: Better Than Ever Review

What if your neighbors sat down with you and proceeded to answer any questions you had about their history in getting together, their sexual journey as a couple, and then proceeded to show you how they make love? That's basically what you get with Comstock Films' "Real People, Real Life, Real Sex" series. This one features a married couple named Matt & Khym. The first part is mainly an interview, with brief scenes of love-making interspersed to ratchet-up the heat and add more emphasis to what they are saying. The final 15 minutes are spent on their love-making session, some clips of which were in part one.

I believe this video (and the series) will appeal to those who are looking for more in their erotic viewing pleasure than just seeing a multitude of partners in a multitude of positions, jumping from one to the next. For those who like to actually get to know those whom you’re viewing, to feel a connection, then I highly recommend checking this series out. In the Extras section, they have previews of four other videos made by Comstock Studios.

This is my first review of a Comstock offering, and I have to say that it was a good one to start with. As the subtitle says, “Real People, Real Life, Real Sex.”

Real People

Matt & Khym, based upon the chronology they share in the ‘interview’, were around 38 and 35 respectively, when this was filmed. Both of them are type of people whom you would have over for a bar-b-que. Easy to be around. Genuine. Likable. For their age, they are in very good shape. Each has a tattoo on their back, not too large.

Real Life

As mentioned, the first part is about their journey of finding each other, and what transpired since, intercut with briefs scenes from the second part of the video.

They met in 1987 at a hospital where both worked. Matt was a security guard who was in the process of divorcing, and Kim was just out of high school working a desk job. Matt noticed Kim because she had a habit of wearing gartered-stockings that peaked out from under her skirts. Kim had noticed Matt but her friends at work had said to keep her distance since he just wanted to get her into bed. They struck up a friendship. Matt learned that Kim was still a virgin. For six months they built up a friendship. Kim had shared with Matt that she had the hots for another guy at work and Matt, figuring if he ever did get together with Kim, didn’t want to be her first sexual experience. So he actually encouraged her to approach the other guy. Kim did, and in her words, was “Disappointed. Is this all there is?” She became disenchanted and broke off the relationship with the other guy. This is when things started to move to the next level for Matt and Kim

Because they both worked the odd-hour shift, they found themselves going out in the early morning for an after-work meal, taking walks, and working out. According to Matt, he wanted to wait for Kim to be ready to take it a step further physically. Kim continued to come to him for advice, which was a conflicting signal to him. Matt shared that they had a lot of intimacy before they ever had intercourse. One-time they found themselves ‘parking’ and in his words “Kim’s clothes just popped off.” She shared that she was ready. Matt was very nervous. It was a ‘mind-blowing’ experience for both of them. Kim said because she was on top for the first time, she felt a sense of control that helped her reach her orgasm. “This is it!”, she thought.

The next 15 minutes are spent hearing Matt and Kim relate details about their life journey, again interspersed with nice short clips of them making love. It’s an interesting story worth hearing.

Real Sex

Kim shares that in the past few years she has had the desire to feel sexy all the time. She shares how she went out and got a new wardrobe of skirts and such, getting rid of most of her shorts, etc. She keeps her mails, painted, etc. She shares how their sexual intimacy has not decreased over the years. They really make an effort to be together each day, if possible, to ‘reconnect’. She says one of Matt’s goals is to see if he can make her ‘pass out’ from multiple orgasms. (and in viewing the second half, she certainly enjoys them deeply!) In Matt’s words, he is a ‘hedonist’ who tries to involve all his sense when making love to Kim. Kim loves to be petted and she can feel energy transfer from Matt to her during that time.

They both like it when Kim is on top, she, because she can direct, and he, because of the great view and being able to touch everything. They usually do a couple positions during each love-making time. What’s great to Matt is that, :There is nothing she doesn’t want to try.” Kim said she likes to explore and she didn’t want any part of Matt’s body off-limits. This took Matt a little getting used to. To him , the most powerful aphrodisiac is the physical acceptance coupled with trust.

As mentioned, the second half starts with them in bed clothed and quickly moves to Kim naked on her back, with Matt leaning over caressing her with one hand and runnig his tongue up her abdomen and around her breasts. (On a technical note, film, not video, is used, which gives it a more ‘real’ feel. Although at first I thought the lighting would be an issue, but in watching it, it is like you are right there in the bedroom with no artificiality.)

Things move along with Matt giving Kim’s pussy some pleasure, which Kim obviously enjoys. She then returns the favor by giving him a nice blow job. Once hard, she climbs on top of him and proceeds at first to move slowly before building up to an orgasm riding him hard. Matt holds off and they switch to a missionary position, with Kim’s legs back. The word ‘real’ keeps coming to mind. Although the cameraman gets good angles, it is never obtrusive. Unlike the more commercial porn where the actors are in positions meant specifically for viewing and not mainly for true genital contact, this couple really does make love. The grinding together of their pelvises, the kissing, the neck nuzzling. You know this is real, and even though some explicitness is not there as in the real hard core stuff, this is a real turn-on seeing true love-making. I find it is even better than the ‘home videos’ you see on many sites as well, because neither one of these folks plays to the camera at all. Kudos to the Comstocks for what they’ve created.

Kim again orgasms (she has at least three in the video) and then Matt goes over the top himself. The camera lingers for a few more minutes, capturing the couples ‘afterglow’ and tenderness.

Overall, I give this a very high rating. It is not standard hardcore porn. It is more erotic and personal. A person would have to be dead inside to view this and not come away thinking along the lines of “what this couple has is special, and that is something I desire in my life as well.”

So, if you are tired of the ‘wham bam thank you mamm’ porn, or just want a nice change of pace, check this series out. I haven’t seen the others, except for the 4-minute trailers for each, but I’d say start with this one first.

(I gave this a 4.5 sex rating because the action is real and so were the emotions. Nothing faked, which is a pleasure to see.)
