Manuel's Fucking French Vacation Review

Manuel Ferrara takes a trip to Paris in MANUEL'S FUCKING FRENCH VACATION (2011, Evil Angel-Manuel Ferrara Productions) and brings his camera along so that he can film his fucking the likes of the lovely LOU CHARMELLE, busty LIZA DEL SIERRA, horny ANGELL SUMMERS and cute GRAZIELLA DIAMOND in this 4 1/2 hour, 2 disc set that also includes another Paris encounter with the hot-bodied CHARLOTTE DE CASTILLE as a bonus scene.

With the inclusion of Charlotte's standard frame bonus scene with 30 minutes in that green-hued night vision that follows the main feature, MANUEL'S FUCKING FRENCH VACATION reveals a sort of cycle that begins with a morning encounter with Lou and other daytime encounters that follow in wide screen. Each lengthy sex scene alternates between hand-held POV footage and wide shots achieved when Manuel sets the recording camera down nearby to return to the lovely female in her bed then picks up the recording camera again when the action calls for POV. Therefore, the lighting is sometimes erratic and these wide stationary shots are at times too wide. Still, Ferrara's attempt at keeping the action going at a continuous flow is commendable and the occasional jump-cut popping up hinders little.

---Disc 1---

LOU CHARMELLE & MF---Manuel hops a flight from LAX and lands in Paris where night time shots of Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge lead to his finding Lou fast asleep in her bed. He captures wonderful diagonal shots of the sexy and slender Lou as she sleeps then Lou eventually rolls over to suck Manuel's prick with her beautiful bod including a triangular pussy patch filling up the frame. The sleepy duo land in a nearby café for coffee then decide to return to their room and fuck in the morning light.

What remains is a terrific 40 minute encounter that's captured in solid fashion by Manuel's switching between POV and wide shots. Manuel's camera captures much of the POV action in terrific frame-filling diagonal shots that includes fine anal action from Lou and concludes with a cum shot sprayed across her incredible front side. At times, Lou reminds me of classic porn star Loni Sanders and that's a pretty damn good thing. And this super sexy 55 minute opening scene is all the more better in French---!!!! 1/2

LIZA DEL SIERRA & MF---Manuel ascends a long stairway from the Paris Metro to find Liza awaiting in the plaza above where the duo kiss in front of a posted nude shot of Liza. The duo head to her room where Manuel captures the Amazon-bodied Liza taking off her clothes then showering, which reveals a curious rectangular pubic hair patch.

Liza lets her hair down for a long scene that has a quite a bit more available light but a distracted Manuel, who seems bent on fucking the shit out of Liza, thus, leaves his camera far too long in its stationary post in front of the bed. The two hit most of the straight sex poses and and some anal positions with Liza's bod a bit lost with Manuel all over her in this seemingly continuous overly wide shot. Liza takes a break to smoke that Manuel finally captures in POV.

The second half of this scene improves with Manuel switching back and forth between wide shots and POV plus some of the action moves to a couch area, which would have been welcomed much earlier in this overly long encounter. Minus points for a piss poor shot of the duo on the couch crammed into the bottom left corner of the frame. Liza looks great on her knees for the cum shot then she returns to the shower that bookends the sex action of this nearly 85 minute scene---!! 1/2

ANGELL SUMMERS & MF---Manuel pays a visit to the offices of Hot Video Magazine where he watches Angell strip on a video screen. Turns out that Angell is actually on the premises and Manuel takes the opportunity to fuck the giddy gal, who claims to be hot for him. First, Angell hits a shower area where her shadowy figure smashes her ass and bod against a smoked glass.

What remains is an hour long, rougher encounter with a bit of choking, some gaping, A2M, and plenty of POV camera work mixed in to capture it all. GRAZIELLA DIAMOND & MF---Cute, short haired Graziella with some sort of red hair dye performs in this scene with a bit of a rosy tinge. The switch back and forth between wide and POV shots work until a wide shot finds the figures only utilizing screen right. The duo engage in a variety of straight sex positions until Graziella takes a smoking break and peers out the window, which Manuel captures in a fine backside shot.

She says "let's try it" and so about the last 15-20 minutes is an anal sex exercise that starts out with a wide shot then ends with POV shots including a concluding doggy anal position on the corner of the bed. She finishes off the flat-on-his-back Manuel with a terrific hand job/blow job that drips onto her stroke hand before she pulls up, lets cum drip out of her mouth onto Manuel then licks up. The pacing of this hour long scene is a fine with a solid mix of wide shot and POV set ups but the rosy tinge detracts at times, mostly in close-ups---!!!

CHARLOTTE DE CASTILLE & MF---For this standard frame scene, the duo meet out front of the Pompidou, a wild museum structure, where Charlotte agrees to help Manuel get to wherever he's going. The duo end up in a parking garage where Charlotte delivers a fine blow job then takes an upright doggy with her incredible bod bent over into an opened hatchback. The next 30 minutes shift into that night vision photography with the duo sucking and fucking in bed all in a light greenish hue. Manuel's shots are also tighter via the use of the standard frame format; his fucking her that's cut off at the knees at the left side of the frame is a good concept. This fine scene ends with the duo heading to the bathroom, the night vision switching off for terrific well-lit action including upright doggy anal POV leading to Charlotte's terrific bod squatting for a facial. Fun stuff, solid action captured in standard frame format with night vision plus terrific POV action in the garage and bathroom to bookend this 41 minute encounter---!!!!

So, MANUEL'S FUCKING FRENCH VACATION (2011, Evil Angel-Manuel Ferrara Productions) works best when Manuel is actually hard at work switching between wide stationary shots and more mobile POV shooting. At times, Manuel seems to really be on vacation when the camera stays stationary too long and action occurring in frame is not nearly as tight as it it should be. At times, action is too far to one side of the frame or too much in the corner of the frame. At first, it's a distraction then it's boring if it goes on too long. Meanwhile, this problem is not an issue in the standard frame bonus scene.

All of the female performers, French or not, are terrific but Manuel's shot-selecting laziness seems most apparent in the first half of Liza's overly long scene and less so in Lou's terrific scene where there's that splendid trip to the café that wonderfully breaks up the introductory blow job with the main sexual encounter. Thus, similar changes of venue would greatly enhance any future fucking French vacations that Manuel cares to embark on. Final rating for MANUEL'S FUCKING FRENCH VACATION is !!! outta !!!!!
