Man's Ruin Review

Winkytiki follows up his excellent Vivid.alt debut (Rebelle Rousers) with another loosely knitted vignette style film. It has a sort of playful sci-fi feel. The tagline is "A sexy hero trapped in a game of perversion!" and "One girl on a rescue mission faces evil perversion!" That's basically the thread that ties this together. Melodie Gore is your hero, and she'll be featured in interludes between scenes, looking hot, and come back at the end in some form to save the day. The movie has a very lighthearted feel and it's all very tongue-in-cheek. I think it's pretty fun and the cast is sexy. The sex isn't overly rough, and there is no anal intercourse, there is girl-girl. Some of the set ups are quite odd, though. Winkytiki certainly doesn't take himself very seriously, but he does aim to have high quality sets and to make the talent and the sex look great on film. I think he succeeds.

Scene one: Melodie Gore, Stoya (non-sex)
The film begins with Melodie apparently waking up from some nightmares (flashes of sex scenes later in the movie). She moves about her apartment in here cute panties. Her and Stoya end up hanging around the apartment for a while looking cute. Eventually an old school anti-porn preacher on TV somehow sucks Melodie INTO the TV, and thus she enters her first challenge combat perversion, or something. We'll also get to see Melodie in interludes between each scene.

Scene two: Ava Rose and Chris Charming
The scene begins with Ava seemingly dosed out in some sort of doctor's chair, getting her legs shaved with a straight razor by Chris Charming, who is in some sort of creepy doctor mode. There's some classical music playing on the radio, which adds to the mood. Eventually Ava starts moving around after being touched, and the intercourse begins. Ava looks great as usual. The sex begins slowly as Ava lies on her back on the doctor's chair. Soon though, she's standing on one leg, as Chris holds her left leg in the air, for some modified standing doggy style action. Then it's back to the chair, with Ava on her side and panting. Charming, still playing the creepy doctor, begins miming along to the classical music (or some music in his head) and making creepy sounds. We also have some foot fucking, for those who like the foot action. Charming ends up cumming in some sort of beaker (held over Ava's foot) and then hoists up the beaker and incants something about the future. All in all, an interesting scene.

Scene Three: Roxy DeVille and Barry Scott
The set-up here begins with some satan worshipping type set-up (remember, these are the evil perverts that Melodie needs to save us from!) and Roxy is in a red lit room amidst some candles and gargoyles. Barry Scott shows up and begins to take off Roxy's clothes and then its on to blowjob action. After some decent bj work, the sex begins with Roxy standing holding onto a chain hanging from the ceiling while Barry gets her from behind. (the only unfortunate thing is that a watermark appears at times, apparently to obscure a crucifix on the wall. not too annoying, though.) Next it's on to RCA, then Roxy turns around, so she's just on top. Eventually she gets off and sucks Barry off some more. Then they go through a couple more positions, including some doggy style fucking next to a garbage can. Then, after a satanic interlude, Melodie shows up in cat mode and destroys Barry. Pretty good energy in this scene.

Scene Four: Justine Joli, Satine Phoenix and Celeste Star
In some sort of seedy nightclub, with the men gambling on craps. The ladies lounging in their lounge wear. Melodie is walking around in ninja gear. And suddenly the Justine and Satine start making out, and we have some nipple licking. They both proceed to give each other oral. (We're in the same nightclub set, but everyone else seems to disappear for a while.) Satine then heads to the bathroom and pulls out Celeste from the stall for some roughhousing and making out. They take turns licking each other in the restroom, while one is standing the other is on her knees on the ground. Then it's back out to the club, where all three get it on together. Afterwards, Melodie comes and fights off the men that were betting on craps, she destroys them all. I'm not usually that in to girl-girl scenes, and this one didn't do much for me personally, but it seems fairly well done for what it is.

Scene Five: Mia Rose and Jay Huntington
Another bizarre set-up. Jay is into posing like he's the world's strongest man, and Mia is wearing some funny contraption on her head. She looks great as usual, though (even with the device on her head.) Next she's getting some oral, then its onto doggy style fucking. Then the contraption comes off her head and we have some RCA action, followed by regular cowgirl. Then we get some spoon fucking from behind. (oh, all the while there's been some odd dude with an old school camcorder hanging out in the room... not sure why.) The sex is good in this scene. Mia is sexy any way you look at her, and the action is pretty energetic. The soundtrack features some good dark surf rock reverb, too. In the end, though, Melodie shows up and destroys everyone.

Scene Six: Lystra and Claire Adams
In the final scene we have some sci-fi set up. Lystra is netted up in some sort of cocoon. Claire removes the netting legs first. This scene basically consists of some girl-girl light domination. Then they bring in a fucking machine to penetrate Lystra. During the scene there are all sorts of cool interludes of technology, satanicness and various things. It's a very interesting and amusing scene. And, well I won't tell you how it ends.

Conclusion:
The cast looks great, the sets look great. The story doesn't really hold together, but it doesn't need to. Our hero, Melodie, never has any sex scenes, but it's nice to look at her in various outfits and being topless throughout the movie.

In my mind this is a keeper. If you're at all interested in porn with a sense of humor, porn that can be visually interesting, or are into any of the girls in this one, then I'd highly recommend it.
