Magic Mike XXXL: A Hardcore Parody Review

Magic Mike XXXL is the much anticipated parody from Wicked Pictures and director Brad Armstrong who drew on his personal experience as a former male stripper for this film. The movie is very enjoyable, sticks pretty close to the original script and is very well done. The dance numbers were brief and made me smile. Rob Piper and Derrick Pierce are the stand out dancers in this group. There is a good deal of humor that is dry and not overdone. Some really great lines are all throughout the film.

Seth Gamble's understated comedic delivery, facial expressions and timing are impeccable. Tommy Gunn is also delightfully funny. Mr's Gamble and Gunn had me laughing out loud more than once. Derrick Pierce stars as the title character and his performance is the very solid foundation that this parody is built on. Mr Pierce brings his usual charm as well as unexpected depth to the character. The relationship between Mr Pierce's character and that of Misty Stone has a completely natural feel to it that is easy to watch. Mr Pierce's chemistry with his other female co-star, Jessica Drake, is a little fiery and definitely engaging. Another stand out performance from an acting stand point is Some McLane's parody of the Matthew McConaughey role. Simply put, Mr McLane is perfect in this role, right down to his “alright, alright, alright” said in that sexy drawl. Among the ladies, Jessica Drake beams in her role as Seth Gamble's big sister aka The Friend Fucker. Misty Stone is completely captivating as the new night club owner/entrepreneur Romi. These are the standout performances but every actor and actress in Magic Mike XXXL is one of the best in the industry today.

The sex scenes are the very best. Yes, Wicked stays true to their policy of actors wearing condoms. No, there are no anal sex scenes. Yes, you should get over it already and watch the movie. Magic Mike XXXL is obviously female viewer friendly. It would also be a great film for couples.

If you have never seen adult entertainment before this is a perfect introduction to hard core porn. I recommend buying the DVD. The movie is 3 hours and 21 minutes long and well worth watching more than once. Magic Mike XXXL is a 2 disk DVD package with a lot of extras.
