Little Me & Marla Strangelove (VCX) Review

Review:
Despite her virginal demeanor, Debbie (Nancy Hoffman) always finds herself in odd, borderline-coercive sexual situations...and it always seems to be her hot-to-trot, best-friend's, Marla Strangelove's (Dianne Dale's), fault. Such is the case in "Little Me & Marla Strangelove", a decent, 1978 release from VCX and director Kirdy Stevens. Something of a coming of age tale with a naughty twist, this flick follows a short span of time in the lives of its two female protagonists, the ready and willing Dianne Dale and the more demure and hesitant Nancy Hoffman. Both of these young women--and they do fit the "young" bill well, almost eerily so, in fact--play the roles of high school girls who are out exploring their little corner of the world together as gal-pals. Of course, with the former so willing and adventurous as to try out just about anything, they both end up getting pulled into one sexual scenario after another...including with older men and even with one another. As such, some of the action--which is generally reasonably hot, albeit offbeat at points--comes off as at least partially nonconsensual, particularly as far as Hoffman's character goes. Regardless, this all plays into the two girls' characters well, as well as the plot, which itself is decent enough. While this one isn't a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, it's different enough that some fans of classic adult films (or Kirdy Stevens' work, in general) will probably want to give it a look.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds Dianne Dale ("Marla") getting it on orally and vaginally with a guy in the back of a green, 70's Dodge van that comes complete with curtains. This takes place as the driver of the van drives alongside Nancy Hoffman (who hopped out due to the sex) and gives her a play-by-play (oral, vaginal ; spurting pop on Dale's chest, tummy, and bush out of missionary). In Scene Two, Nancy and Dianne chance upon the former's father's 8 mm porn stash and watch a number of the scenes, which include oral, vaginal, anal, girl-girl, and double-penetration (DP) action. John Holmes and Serena are present among plenty of others in this material, some of which may have been added in later, as it seems to post-date the production. Of course, this all gets the two young women aroused, and it isn't long before Dianne jumps on top of Nancy. After some hesitation and a game of "you show me yours, and I'll show you mine", they let their pent-up, youthful lust loose...with their fingers and their tongues. Scene Three (a flashback from Hoffman's point of view) has Dianne and Nancy kidnapped and tied up on S & M equipment in Jimmy Sharpe's and Christine Kelly's place after they've accepted a ride from Jimmy. Dianne loves it all, and Nancy hates it, so Nancy gets the brunt of the lashes from the whip...and gets raped by Jimmy...with Dianne's help (cum-shot on Hoffman's tummy and bush, followed by a reinsertion and further fucking). In Scene Four, the same flashback is told from Dale's perspective, and it's 100% different. This time, Nancy's the aggressive one, along with Christine and Jimmy, while Dianne's taken advantage of. Gone is all of the S & M equipment, with this one taking place on a bed in a typical bedroom of the era. Sharpe eats Dale's panties (which are apparently made of fruit rollups), gets head from her, and "rapes" her vaginally. All of the ladies blow him, and Jimmy ultimately delivers a facial to Dianne...which Kelly laps up. Scene Five brings together Dianne and Rick Lutze on one sofa in Nancy's living room, and Nancy and Robert Rose on another one right across from it. While Dale's into Lutze and is quick to blow him to completion on her face, Hoffman's not so happy with what's going on...and Rose pretty much forces himself on her in the early parts of the scene. Eventually, Nancy gives in and lets him eat her out and fuck her, and by that time, Dianne and Lutze fuck it out again... this time vaginally and on the floor. Rick unloads on Dale's tummy. Definitely a different type of flick...
