License to Thrill, unless you believe the initial title card which is missing from this edition, is the first in a series of five adult films taking on James Bond. This series, if someone had put some money behind it and more than your standard mid-80s effort into it, could have ended up being something great. However, License to Thrill is your average 80s shot on video production. The plot only exists to move from one sex scene to another. In this movie, Jane Bond (Heather Wayne), 0069, is trying to rescue the Princess of Mahai, who is being held captive by Pussyfinger (Chanel Price) and Doctor Yes (Tony El-ay), who are trying to turn the princess into a sexual slave. The plotted portions of the movie probably boil down to a couple of minutes at most. As was common with features such as this the movie consists of all indoor scenes, lightly dressed to fit this movie, but nothing special.

The sex scenes look nice and are well done. The cast is enthusiastic and seems to be having fun. The sexual portions are well shot, which can be expected with Jack Remy behind the movie. This is one of those movies that if you like one or more of the cast members, it is worth watching. If you aren't a fan, the movie makes for an easy pass. License to Thrill is followed by Jane Bond Meets Thunderballs.

Caballero has done a good job with this release. License to Thrill was shot on video. The movie is presented in the full screen aspect ratio. The color levels look muted and the picture looks a little soft. Beyond that there were no noticeable issues. The movie has been slightly edited from its original release. The opening title card which read “Harold Lime presents the new Jane Bond adventure” is missing. Other than that the movie appears to be fully intact. License to Thrill is presented with a Dolby Digital 2.0 monaural track which has a low hiss but beyond that has no issues. The only extra that Caballero has included is a photo gallery with stills from the movie.

License to Thrill is your average 80s shot on video production. It is a movie that you don't pick up for the plot but instead you only pick up if you like one or more of the cast members. Caballero has done an acceptable job with this release.
