The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is a bit weird, mostly due to the balance. The left speaker had all of the sounds from the performers and the scene, while the right speaker had all of the music at a higher level than the audio from the scene. It really stands out during the sex as the right speaker goes dead while the left contains all the audio. Other than the speaker balance problem, the audio is very good. There are very few background sounds, such as some dogs which refuse to stop barking during the second scene, and the performers are balanced very nicely. The feature audio balance also leaves a little bit to be desired at times, as the background noises are sometimes louder than the performers. The video, however, is excellent. It almost has a little soft grain, but is will lit and looks great.

Music: There’s a bit of music during the scene setups which is a bit loud, but none once the sex starts.

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp for the feature. I sometimes like to jump back to specific points in the movie, and without a time stamp you can’t go to a specific point. Smash does help things out by putting in plenty of chapter breaks, but it’s still not the same thing.

Menus: The menus leave me with mixed feelings. The main menu is straightforward but nice looking. My biggest problem with it is that it lists the four chapters on it, letting you jump directly to chapter 1, 2, 3, or 4. This doesn’t impress me, as it looks like they’re trying to cram a lot onto the main menu to get out of a chapter menu. When you select a scene, however, rather than taking you directly to that scene, you’re given a very nice submenu which lets you jump directly to virtually any part of that scene. My only complaint here is that the submenus don’t list the performers in the scene, which I think would really put the icing on the cake.

The Feature

Legal Skin13 works around a plot about a modeling agency and some diamonds. It’s not really important as each scene basically just works to introduce a few honeys who need to take some cock.

Scene 1 - Andy Brown and Frank Gunn

When Andy’s dealing with Frank over some diamonds stalls out, he directs her to the fringe bonus in his pants. She’s happy to consider it, and bends over to take a closer look before taking it into her mouth. Andy sucks it as the front of her dress falls down with Frank standing in front of her, and than lets him help pull it off her so he can tongue and finger her holes. This is a great scene! The setup is nicely done, but not done extremely seriously. There’s some very nice chemistry here, which is something that often seems to lack with younger European performers. Andy smiles frequently through the scene, and the obvious enjoyment isn’t limited to just her. This is a very well done scene, and definitely leaves me with a very good first impression of the series.

Scene 2 - Vanessa and Mary

Brunette Vanessa gets it on with dirty blonde Mary when she finds Mary’s dildo after having her do her hair. They explore each other’s tits before Mary drops down to kiss her way around Vanessa’s panties. She pulls them aside to get at Vanessa’s bald beaver before striping down and turning around so that Vanessa can return the favor. The toys come out next, with Vanessa taking a decent sized pink one in her twat, while Mary takes a smaller blue one that comes complete with anal beads in both holes. Finally the girls finish things up with a nice kiss.

This is a pretty hot scene. The girls look to be into each other pretty well, but the scene has a very organized feeling to it that stuck out a little to me. It feels very back and forth, and the positions are very limited. The girls look like they’re into each other, which helps things get past this very well, but the feeling’s still there.

Scene 3 - Silvy, Liz Honey, and James Brossman

While waitingfor their appointment, Silvy and Liz read a porno mag. They decide to pass a little time by asking James whether he thinks the girls in the magazine have a better rack or them. Of course this leads to plenty of kissing, disrobing, and oral sex. Although Silvy starts out groping James, it’s Liz who sucks his cock first. James moves on to eat Silvy from behind while she kisses Liz, and then to fuck her. Liz lays back for him to give it to her missionary style while Silvy watches and caresses her before letting him spoon her ass. Finally, he lets the girls share a very impressive pop across their faces.

This is another winner of a scene. It moves along nicely and the girls are into each other as well. It almost seems a little too quick, but still works well.

Scene 4 - Victoria Swinger and Mike Foster

When Mike is sent to check on why the car alarm is going off, he finds extremely cute dirty blonde maid Victoria waiting for him. She gives him a little story, and then when he moves to head back up she grabs his arm to get him to stay and leans over to suck his cock. He repays her by tonguing her twat before taking her straight to the A. First she takes it from behind, and then lets Mike give it to her missionary style. Victoria finally finishes things up taking a very nice facial.

This is a hot scene that could have been a little hotter if done slightly differently. First, the good stuff. Victoria is absolutely gorgeous and takes it in the can like a champ! She knows how to play to the camera, as well as her partner, and puts on an excellent show. The problem here is that it’s cut with Angel’s scene. This interfered with the heat for this segment a little, and annoyed me more than a few times by cutting away from Angel’s scene for a few seconds, almost as if they were just letting you know that yes, Victoria wasn’t forgotten. It’s a fairly minor complaint since both girls are great, but something which definitely did interfere with my enjoyment of the scene. If the scenes were set one after the other I’m sure I would have enjoyed them both much more.

Scene 5 - Angel, Nick Lang, and Bob Terminator

While Mike gets it on with maid Victoria in the garage, brunette Angel takes on Nick and Bob upstairs. She sucks one before letting him nail her from behind, and then turns her oral attentions towards the other guy. She kicks it up a notch with the other guy first by giving him the first anal in the cameraman favorite reverse cowgirl, and then by moving things onto a double penetration. Finally, Angel lets both guys pop on her great natural rack.

This is another great scene, and technically is just like Victoria’s scene. Angel looks great and does an excellent job, but by cutting her scene with Victoria’s, the heat suffers and I think the chemistry was hurt a bit more here as well. It’s a great scene to finish things up with, but could have been a little better.

Legal Skin 13 is an excellent fuck flick! Every girl here is absolutely gorgeous, and knows how to fuck! There really isn’t a bad scene here, but there are a few very minor problems. My biggest complaint about Legal Skin13 is the editing. It’s a little choppy, but to be honest, the scenes are still hot enough that at times I didn’t really care. It interferes the most with the final scene, due to the two scenes being edited together to form it, but the problem stuck out in earlier scenes too. The plot was also fairly lame. I think Legal Skin 13 could have been improved a little by dropping the plot and taking this to an all sex movie, but I’m sure I would have also enjoyed it a bit more if the audio problems were fixed so that I could have understood the dialogue better. Legal Skin 13 is a great fuck flick, just keep the remote handy for the plot portions!

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. This one’s worth checking out! The sex is all hot and the video is excellent! On the negative side, however, the audio balance between the left and right speaker is quite odd and there isn’t much of anything for extras.

Note to Smash Pictures: You have a great feature here, but the DVD as a whole would really be helped out with a bit of polish. First, fix the audio as it’s something that’s going to stand out to everybody who watches the feature. Second, give full credits. There’s no reason the guys shouldn’t be given credit as well, and a cast listing by scene somewhere on the DVD would be a great extra. Finally, include something else for extras. I know that interviews or behind the scenes featurettes don’t always work, but you should have plenty of room for a bonus scene. You could draw people towards another Smash line with this or include a scene from another Legal Skin release to let them know that this one wasn’t a fluke and that they should check out the rest of the series.
