Karen Review

OK, so in my last review of a Nu-Tech DVD (Custom Slave) I was pretty down on the company based on the shortness of the title (30 minutes). What convinced me of trying another Nu-Tech title, I don't know.

Wait a minute, yes I do. A young Cheerleader Captain having to take on her entire squard to keep them happy. Hey, even if that's only 30 minutes, that's good entertainment to me. Unfortunately, i forgot that this was a Japanese title in which most Japanese cheering squads are composed of men. No!!!

Now Karen is based on a female character, a nicely drawn volumptuous beauty, but the only girl on a men's cheering squad and it's the men who take advantage of her. That without sex, they quit, and Karen wants to me a good captain, but she's hesitant about the sex. She does it, though, and by the end of the DVD, she enjoys sharing herself with the team.

Now, the DVD does redemm itself by having Karen join up with the girl dance team, dressed in far more traditional cheerleading costumes, which Karen and the other girls don't wear for long. I wanted that scene to be the entire movie, yet it was a scene good enough to make the DVD fairly entertaining.

Nu-Tech is still not the best adult anime company on the market today, but Karen is an upgrade over Custom Slave. I promise you that.
