Jenna From All Angles Review

First off this is a soft core title so the sex rating is zero only because n/a was not an option. Now the box cover shot of Jenna will be sure to catch everyone's eye but be warned this little title is a sheep in wolf's clothing.

The box says that this title is put out by a company called "Peach" what you find when you look inside is a Vivid Interactive DVD with all the same lame excuses for content I have come to expect from them.

The cast is as follows:

Jenna Jameson, Monica, Raelynn (aka Raylyn), Monica, Zana, Molly, Jana, Jewel and Mason.

The main menu is overly bright in my opinion and is accompanied by some very annoying bad jazz music. To top things off the menu loops are very short. Not even allowing me time to write down the choices before it loops and the menu isn't that long.

The Box cover touts this as the first "mature" multiangle DVD. Well your angle choices are standard, close-up and above for all the segments except for Raelynn's in which the third choice is an even closer shot. Unfortuantely they went with the lowest common denominator approach again and the extra angles don't give you very much though I am sure a lot of people will appreciate the closer view. The problem with the above shots is that they didn't change the light settings for that camera so what appears to be a perfectly balanced picture in angle 1 comes out all red in angle 3.

The stripteases are pretty standard with nothing to really draw your attention. Each running in the 6-7 minute range.

Jenna's is (as expected) the best of the lot. Her's is very seductive in nature and she never loses sight of the camera. Her make-up and outfit are perfect.

Raelynn is more playful in her approach then Jenna is but bad editing puts a damper on this one at the 4 minute mark when she stops dancing and literally receives direction and talks to someone off screen (no sound only music) before resuming her dancing as if nothing has happened. Obviously this segment should have been cut out but very poor attention to detail is shown on the editors part.

Monica is the next up and she doesn't seem as experienced at this as her two predecessors. At times she seems confused as to what to do next and usually reverts to playing with her rather large (natural) breasts. Again there is a segment where she struggles to get her underwear off and the editor has chosen to leave this section in.

Molly is an older looking blonde who does her striptease outside. Her scene is probably the weakest of the lot and is not helped by her annoying habit of continuously picking up her drink during her scene.

Zana's scene is in a bedroom and is playful in nature. She does a really good job but again the editing could have helped it flow a lot better.

Jana is a beautiful (foreign) blonde who does what is a pretty much standard pool table striptease scene. Unfortunately they have chosen her clothes for looks instead of functionality so they are hard for her to remove which causes her scene to not be as erotic as it could be.

Mason is an exotic looking woman who has obviously done this before. While the use of the book in her scene is a very lame attempt to make it look "high brow" she nontheless pulls off a very hot scene. My only complaint is when you think the scene is over the music changes as does her rhythm. Now had they been going from a fast pace to a slower one this might have worked but they did just the opposite.

Jewel's scene is another example where they chose a set of clothes that is intentionally hard to remove which pretty much makes her scene a wash since she never really has time to get anything going.

The Interview's segment is pretty much a joke. Jenna's is by far the longest and is not an interview as much as it is someone filming her getting ready while she talks to the make-up girl and the camera man. While Jenna's interview runs in the 14 min mark everyone else's is under 2 minutes and is usually them just talking about a little something personal and then the segment is over.

The Behind the Scenes segment does reveal where a lot of the problems come from during it's 21 minute running time. It is mostly taken up by one guy giving directions to the women even when they don't need it. At one point Jana is seen just looking at him as if he is the dumbest person alive. The crew makes up the majority of this segment with very little of Jenna to be seen.

The photo gallery is pretty standard shots of the women except they are totally random in that not all of Jenna's are grouped together.

The Previews on the disc are for Naked and Naughty, Platinum Stripper Championship, Hollywood Stripper Championship and Janine's Private Party. The first three are nothing special if the preview is evidence of what the disc contains. Janine's Private Party looks interesting only because she apparently actually does all the interviews herself. Though it should be noted that in every scene shown in the preview her tattooed arm was covered up.

The Web was merely Jenna's and Vivid's website address while the set-up menu only gave you the option of turning the multi-angle icon off or on. It should be noted that on is it's default setting.

All in all this must be a Vivid attempt to buy access to Playboy and Penthouse's softcore monopoly by cashing in on Jenna's good name. While Jenna's scene is great and the interview of her is interesting even she is not enough to save this DVD.

Get only if you are a HARDCORE Jenna fan otherwise go with Playboy or Penthouse. They do it better.
