Initial Expectations: Although I haven’t seen nearly as much of it as I probably should, Everhard has really impressed me with his work behind the camera. I’m going into this one with very high expectations despite not normally caring too much about barely legal movies.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very nicely done. It stays at a very nice level throughout the movie and has very few background noises. The video is pretty darn good and barely shows any grain or pixelation. There’s a touch of breakup around 1:39:30, but that’s the biggest problem with the video in the entire movie. There’s also a few shadows and a little camera motion, but that’s to be expected with a movie that mostly appears to be shot by hand.

Menus: The main menu is great, and blends the boxcover, a bit of the movie, and a lullaby. The chapter menu also shows some very nice care, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in it.

The Feature

With Jailbait Erik Everhard focuses on barely legal girls. Each scene normally starts with a bit of tease and story, and always seems to enhance the action rather than seeming like filler.

There’s a good mix of sex acts here, but I can see some people being a little put off due to how heavy the group sex aspect of the movie is. The final scene is the only one to have only one guy working on the girl, and although there’s some strong male talent here they do get a little old seeing them in scene after scene. That said, even with those complaints I really got into Jailbait, and normally barely legal movies don’t do a lot for me. Once again, Erik Everhard has shown that he’s got enough talent to work both in front and behind the camera.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about two and a quarter minutes with roughly five seconds per good looking snapshot. There’s also cumshot recaps, weblinks, a bonus scene, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes lasts a little over a half hour. After Melissa’s assraping of Erik is foiled while shooting the opening scene, things move on to Kat’s scene. Erik checks her out a bit before letting her get intimately acquainted with both Steve and John. After a break to watch The History Channel, there’s a bit of the action being shot. This is a very worthwhile behind the scenes featurette.

This is a darn hot DVD.
