The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single background noise with the exception of the final scene (which had a few very noticeable ones). The video is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen, just as one would expect from Digital Playground. There's very little grain or camera motion, and it's all very nicely lit. This is a very good looking and sounding movie.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu is pretty basic, and just gives a few stills with a little minor background animation. The chapter menu is also fairly simple letting you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene, but it also lets you know who the girls are in each chapter at the start of their scene.

The Feature

Jack's Playground sticks with a simple formula. Jack (Robby D.) is hustling girls who want to get into music videos, and wants to know how bad they want to get in. He mixes in a few little skits, and the girls will do anything from give a little show to give it all up.

Scene 1 – Devaun, Renee Richards, and Jerry

After a quick recap from Montel, Jack arrives at Jerry's door. Jerry invites him in and shows him hot brunettes Devaun and Renee making out on the couch. Scene 2 – Juliana Kinkaid

Scene 3 – Riley Mason and Tommy Gunn

Scene 5 – Celeste Star

Jack starts out the penultimate scene watching hot brunette Celeste shoot a little pool in a sexy brown flowered top, a jean skirt, and wide purple fishnets. Scene 6 – Devon and Scott Nails

Jack's Playground 33 is another nice Jack movie from Robby D. Yes, the music video theme is on full display, but the cast has enough fun with it that it still works pretty well for me. The little “Jack TV” segments were also a lot of fun between scenes, and although they weren't hysterical, they were funny enough that I found myself laughing and smiling at each of them. As for the sex, I think the opening scene between Devaun, Renee, and Jerry was the big winner for me here, while the two solo scenes fell a little short due to finishing things cutting the scene off looking like a blowjob was about to start. Riley's scene also felt like it was a position or two short. At the same time, although those are complaints they aren't too big of complaints as I found myself enjoying all of the scenes in the movie. Instead there little things where the movie fell short and felt like it could have been slightly improved. Jack's Playground 33 isn't going to break any new ground for the series, but it does do a nice job taking hot women and letting them do plenty of teasing along with some good fucking.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. The low end isn't too bad here. Although the sex is sometimes slightly flawed, at the same time there's still plenty to like about it. The technical aspects are nicely done, but sadly there's no real effort put into the extras. If you're a fan of “Jack”, this should be another very likable DVD.

Note to Digital Playground: A little effort towards the extras would have been very nice here.
