Who is Iodinegirl? I have no clue. Belladonna's most recent B/G opus is a triumph of vague concept over thematic coherence, but since it's set in an insane asylum, that sorta makes sense. Hubby Aiden's desaturated videography gives the five lengthy scenes a surreal quality that sets the production apart from any typical gonzo movie, as does the frenzied opening set-to between a tightly shorn Bella, who begins by giving blowjobs with a burlap sack pulled over her head, and two bullish studs dressed as hospital orderlies. The sex is brutal, and the echoes, deliberate or not, of the Abu Ghraib atrocities in Iraq are impossible to tune out, which makes the whole thing unsettling.

But, hey, she's good at it, and has the strength of character to cultivate an alternative vision of "porn sexuality" despite dismissive comments from the public. I'm such a sick f*ck that I kinda dig all this, even the creepy institutional violation of it all (even as I experienced flashbacks to Mason's Sexual Disorder and Julie Night's outer-limits, ragdoll-on-crack performances). Overall, we're not sure if all this nightmarish hole-ramming is really 'erotic.' But it's certainly something. Great cast, including Marie Luv, Bella look-alike Regan Reese, fan fave (and blowjob diva) Lexi Love and, humbly we bow to thee, Iberian bottle rocket Rebeca Linares who, here and elsewhere, is showing that she's one of the most amazingly, uh, limber and beguilingly sexy female performers in the biz today.
