Directed by Chloe Sampson and Eddie Powell, written by Mona Sunoy, THE INTERNS 2 (2011, New Sensations) continues with the work day struggles of interns at Haute Couture magazine that's run by tough editor-in-chief Julian Ann. Part of New Sensations Sappho Series, THE INTERNS 2 boasts a fine all-female cast playing characters that tends to settle office squabbles then kiss and twat suck at their desks. Most set ups to the girl/girl sex scenes are solid but this 2 hour 19 minute DVD with only 4 sex scenes could use some serious editing. Wide screen.

The opening scene between intern SAMANTHA RYAN and INDIA SUMMER takes place around and on a desk top in a mostly solid kiss and suck encounter that suffers from an unexciting set-up---!! 1/2

Julia Ann fires Allie who shares a kiss with Samantha. Fade to black.

DANA DE ARMOND plays Eva who seduces a potential new hire, CELESTE STAR, in an office scene with terrific tension at the outset turning into a typical girl/girl encounter on the desk top. The duo end up in 69 and a grinding Celeste seems to let loose a bit for the finale---!!! 1/2

Missing pictures force ZOE VOSS to a new photo shoot where her model fails to show up. Photographer SINN SAGE enlists Zoe as a last minute replacement. The shoot goes well and Sinn tells Zoe "you're a natural." They kiss then land on a white couch where the gals switch at being on top then Sinn climbs on top to rub pussies with Zoe sucking her fingers while on bottom---!!!

A worried Zoe must return to JULIA ANN with pictures of herself, not the model, and Julia Ann appreciates her quick thinking as well as the pictures themselves. She asks "do you have any other talents?" Zoe surprises her with a kiss then she humps her boss in an office chair where a clothed Julia Ann spreads her legs so that Zoe sucks her pussy. The duo both end up naked on top the table as each takes a twat sucking turn then a kiss concludes this solid scene---!!!

An upset Samantha can't wait to discuss something with Julia Ann so she goes to her home, which sets up a little cliff hanger for the next installment.

DVD Extras include a 19 minute BTS, 3 minutes of outtakes, a 26 minute bonus girl/girl scene with Samantha Ryan, a 2 minute photo gallery and a trailer for the first episode in the series.

So, THE INTERNS 2 (2011, New Sensations) suffers from over length. The good news is that a solid 75 to 90 minute feature lurks in this 2+ hour DVD. In future installments, why not cut parts of the sex scenes, reduce the feature to a shorter running time then include entire sex scenes in the DVD extras? Make better use of the DVD format instead of sticking with the tired BTS and bonus scene schtick. The overstuffed INTERNS 2 gets a final rating of !!! outta !!!!!
