Initial Expectations: The first three episodes in the series were pretty good and quite different. I’m hoping for more of the same here, although I’d like a little more consensual sex.

Initial Reaction: It’s better than I expected after reading reviewer’s review . It’s well written but quite sick in parts.

Who Should Watch It : Fans of science fiction, mythology, and porno.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to see consensual sex all the time.

Audio /Video Quality: Both the audio and video are very good. It looks and sounds as good as I’ve ever heard anime.

Music: The music has the feel of a lot of anime. It fits the feature very well and adds a lot of emotion to it.

Menus: There’s some decent animation that fits the feature pretty well.

The Feature: Imma Youjo: The Erotic Temptress 4 takes a more feudal approach once again. This time it’s medieval Europe and, like in Imma Youjo: The Erotic Temptress 1 , starts with a little raping and pillaging. Count Pickingel and knights rape a girl while hunting for a witch and are confronted at the end by Mayatola Calvin, commanding officer of the First Imperial Guard. This time Maya is in a male role, forced to hide her being a woman.

Mayatola has been trying to stop Count Pickingel for quite a while, knowing how his witch hunts are conducted, but the Count has high connections to the king. Even more worrisome for Mayatola is that he is the only thing in the Count’s way of becoming the general in charge of the area after the current General, who knows of Mayatola’s secret, retires. Even he, however, might not be able to save Mayatola when she’s framed for the murder of her father and exposed as a woman. As Maya’s tortured and raped, her feminine side comes out which could destroy everyone and everything.

This is by far the sickest episode of Imma Youjo . The torture chamber is quite graphic and Count Pickingel uses it to both torture and rape the women he brings there. Count Pickingel and Isabel, the King’s representative, seems like they belongs in an episode of Cool Devices and really gets off on the torture of the women. Thankfully the torture scenes aren’t that long.

Imma Youjo: The Erotic Temptress 4 reminds me a lot of Imma Youjo: The Erotic Temptress 1 . The sex is a lot more violent and very little of it is consensual. It’s a well written story, but that doesn’t mean I necessarily like it.

Extras: The photo gallery lasts about a minute, but seemed cut off. (In his review, reviewersaid it lasted about two minutes). On the plus side, I thought it looked very good. There’s also company info, a new release website link, and subtitle control.

The second side of the DVD contains trailers for the Cool Devices series, the La Blue Girl series, Twin Angels , and Venus 5 . It’s a nice format. The first screen tells you about the feature and you can choose whether you want to view the trailer or not.

Overall: Currently, Imma Youjo: The Erotic Temptress 4 can be found online for between $13 and $25 with a few stores offering it for under $15. The transfer appears to be very good but there isn’t much for extras. Although well written, you might want to skip this one since it’s kind of sick.

Note to NuTech: It’s a decent feature, but it seems short for the price since there’s virtually no extras. It would be a lot better if there was more than one episode per DVD, such as with the La Blue Girl and Cool Devices series.
