The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are fairly average. The audio is pretty clear, but there are a few balance problems, background noises, and areas that look like they might be dubbed. The video is presented in the full frame format, and looks pretty good. There's a touch of grain along with a little camera motion and soft focus blurs. It also works in a few artistic effects, like making some of the setups look like they're being played on an old fashioned film projector.

Music: The music has a nice variety to it. Some of it sounds like it came straight out of a spaghetti western while other parts sound like pretty typical porno music. It's nicely balanced with the rest of the audio and adds some good humor to the movie.

Menus: The main menu is okay, and blends the boxcover with a small clip of action with the choices. The chapter menu is very nicely done, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene as well as a title for the scene.

The Feature

He is Marco, the man who can teach women of “the orgasm”. That's good news for the ladies, but bad news for Kyle. Scene 4 – Cheyenne Hunter and Kyle Stone

I Am Marco is a very fun fuck flick. Sexually, it's slightly above average with a good variety. It's your standard porno sex with a bit of anal and a little girl on girl action mixed in, and with Marco doing most of the fucking it's well delivered. What separates I Am Marco from the rest is the setups, which do take the scenes beyond the slightly above average level of the sex. The setups are all a lot of fun, with Kyle Stone showing himself to still be a great comedic actor who knows the right amount of cheese to spread around his performance. Every single setup for the scenes had be laughing out loud, and there was a time or two I think the scene was close to half done before it left my face. Yes, this is cheesy porno, but it realizes it and that makes all the difference. The gleam in Marco's teeth when he smiles, the “boing” sound when his cock pops out, and Marco having a grand total of one line to remember in the entire movie are simple and stupid jokes, but they never got old here. In fact, I actually found myself looking forward to Marco's corny smile and “I am Marco” to start and finish each scene. Bushler even goes for a little fun in the style by having some of the openings try to approximate the old film projector feel. The flickering picture there worked for me in thought, but in action it got a little annoying as the movie went on. In the end, I Am Marco is a very good porno comedy. Although the sex could have been better, it is above average and played very well with the humor in the movie. That humor really makes the movie tick, and because of it I can't help but look forward to the next installment of I Am Marco while recommending that anybody wanting a few laughs with their smut check out I Am Marco.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of FYA's DVDs can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with most stores offering them around $20. If you want a good laugh with your porn, this one's definitely worth your money. The sex is decent too, but the humor is what drives this one. The technical aspects are above average, but there's virtually no effort put into the extras. This is a fun movie on a DVD that could have used a little more overall effort.

Note to FYA: This movie had to be a blast to make, and with Kyle Stone around I find it hard to believe that there wasn't plenty of fun on the set. A behind the scenes featurette or blooper reel would have been a great addition here due to that feeling.
