Synopsis:
Karen (Holly Hollywood) goes to Hollywood hoping to get her big break. After she can't take sleeping in her car another night, she moves in with the bitchy April Flowers and her boyfriend Trent Tesoro. Karen tries to keep her innocence and get a job in Hollywood while dealing with April's jealousy.

Audio/Video:
Hooray for Hollywood is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track, which works well for all of the material being presented here. Since the movie is made up entirely out of dialog and sex, there is no need for fancy audio effects in the film. The dialog is clear and can be heard at all times during the film. Metro hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the film.

Hooray for Hollywood is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. Shot on video, this presentation is in great shape with a picture that is free from blemishes, artifacts and glitches. The color levels are correct giving the viewer a nice viewing experience.

Special Features:
Metro has included a few extras on the disc for your viewing pleasure. The best by far is the piece “Behind the Scenes of Hooray for Hollywood,” which goes in depth into the filming of the movie. This piece is made all the more interesting and enjoyable due to the colorful comments from Quasarman. There are interviews with actresses Holly Hollywood, Alaura Eden, Sunrise Adams, and Petra, which are short but interesting. There is a photo gallery, which contains roughly 31 stills that you flip through yourself. And last, there are trailers for Les Vampyres 2, Good Girl Bad Girl, Karma, and America the Beautiful.

There are five chapters available from the main menu for Hooray for Hollywood. They are identified by a video clip from the scene that the chapter goes to. There is one chapter for each sex scene in the film, which is acceptable, but more are desired. There is a time code for the feature film encoded on the disc.

General Review:
Hooray for Hollywood could be a great film, but instead ends up being an average film. To begin with, the plot for the film, is full of clichés and is tired. We've all seen it before and instead of breathing new life into it, Quasarman lets it just flounder along. Girl comes to Hollywood to become a star and everyone wants to sleep with her to help her career. Hell this film sounds like several of the films that Chuck Vincent did. If some real twists had been written in so the film didn't follow the established mold so much or if the sex scenes had fit into the film better the overall enjoyment of the film would have gone up. There is enough of a plot present in the film to bother viewers who hate a story to intrude into their porn.

The acting in the film is decent, especially for an adult film. Instead of the cast just clumsily reading their lines to get them over with they actually do a good job here. You can see in the behind the scenes piece that Quasarman was pushing them to do a good job with the script. One of the stand outs that I saw in the film is Trent Tesoro. This is the first film I have seen with him and given the decent job he did with his role I hope to see him again.

Sex scenes are nicely done. The scenes are rather tame, so couples shouldn't have any problem with the film. Even the well advertised anal scene in the film is done so that couples probably won't have a problem with it. The cast looks great and interacts well with each other. The sexual themes in the film are oral, vaginal and anal sex with lesbianism and toys. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

Quasarman has done a great job of filming the movie. All the shots, sex scenes and plot sequences, look great. The only other problem that I had with the movie is the use of a very unrealistic set. The house that Karen ends up staying in is a nice place. According to the film, the only person in the house that is employed is Trent Tesoro's character who has a recurring role as a janitor. Even with the financial help of his parents that the film mentions, this house couldn't be afforded by them. I would have liked to have seen a cheaper, more realistic looking house here.

In the first scene, we get Alaura Eden with Mark Wood for a scene that starts out with some pussy eating. The fourth scene features April Flowers, Kitty Monroe, and Joel Lawrence and starts out with some pussy eating before the blow job. The scene concludes with some vaginal sex. The fifth and final scene brings us Holly Hollywood and Trent Tesoro for a scene that starts out with some pussy eating. The pussy eating is followed by a blow job before the scene heads into the vaginal sex. The scene and the film conclude with some anal sex.

Parting Thoughts:
In short, fans of one of the stars or Quasarman will probably want to rent this title or purchase it cheap and will get some enjoyment from it. Others will probably want to pass as this is not the strongest film that Quasarman has ever done. If he could have strengthened the plot, this film could have been a real winner.
