Hologram is available separately or as a part of Chi Chi LaRue’s Collection, vol. 1, along with Body Search and Total Corruption 1 & 2. It’s a fantasy a la Star Trek, in a shop equipped with an Enterprise’s Holodeck sort of arrangement. Four buddies, Callan Lange, Randall Maxxon, Zak Spears, and birthday boy Michael Chads celebrate by visiting the locale run by Gender, one of Chi Chi LaRue’s flock of regulars from that mid-90s period. And we all know what sort of fantasies they are going to dial up.

The first fantasy is Callan Lang’s and he gets way lucky to have 80s Falcon star Rod Phillips appear before him, naked in a glass shower stall. Lang dives right in without taking his clothes off and commences the body worship. And Phillips has a body worthy of it. The set is entirely black except for the well-lit shower and the effect is stunning. The sounds of the water from the shower provide the background music for an extended oral session with Phillips’ huge cock. The water finally stops and Lange has disrobed, and is spit-polishing Phillips’ hole. Phillips then pounds Lange’s ass until Lange spews all over the glass door of the stall. The two embrace before Phillips vanishes (as holograms are, of course, wont to do), all too quickly. This is an artful, delicious looking scene that suffered mostly from being too short.

Randall Maxxon gets another totally black room illuminated only by a huge chandelier with an accompanying naked Sal Antonio and Randy Mixer. Unbeknownst to Maxxon, Dylan Fox has slipped Gender some bills to spy on the scene. The three-way is somewhat hot; at least the three are great physical specimens in action. It is at least hot enough for Fox who manages to get his rocks off halfway through the scene. But for me, the action seemed to formulaic; there wasn’t a lot of chemistry. This scene, too, just seemed too short.

Leave it to Zak Spears to conjure up a nasty, piggy sex fantasy in a leather bar backroom. With a great looking trio of Max Holden, Brock Hunter, and Ted Matthews, the action is hot and nonstop, clearly the best scene in this flick. Spears is on his knees even before clothes are shed and the four engage in various permutations of fondling, sucking, and fucking. The fucking becomes intense with Spears on Holden’s rump until the three holo-studs gang up on Mr. Spears’ body. Hairy-chested Zak shoots a load but then, cum-slut that he is, he demands the three return the favor. Spears is drenched with gallons of the pearly white stuff which, it is revealed in the Director’s Commentary, is actually pink pina colada mix in disguise. It’s a well filmed, well-constructed orgy scene bound to satisfy any horny gay manimal. If you’re not stiff before this scene, you will be watching it.

The last scene is birthday boy, Michael Chads’ fantasy with a muscular Shawn Justin that is not really a fantasy. Justin is there as a real-life, albeit on screen only, electrician to fix something in the room Chads had been assigned to. But real, fantasy, no matter. It’s another occasion for hanky panky. It does beg the question as to whether one can really tell the difference between a holo-dick and a real one. Probably not a question that ever occurred to Commander Riker. There is a workman’s ladder in the room which serves as a platform for various suck and fuck positions. But overall, the chemistry in this one is a bit weak in spite of all the over emoting moans and groans. It is also too short for my taste.

The Director’s Commentary is a really nice extra and I always enjoy Chi Chi’s dish on his flicks. Gender gets an A+ for chewing the scenery and the production values are quality all around. But the sex and the pacing are uneven. The first scene and the Zak Spears orgy are very good to great; the other two scenes much less so. But if you can get this as a part of the Chi Chi LaRue’s Collection, vol. 1, it would be well worth your bucks and time.
