The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are surprisingly good for the low budget this feature obviously has. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn’t notice any hollow areas or background noises. There is, however, a little talk between Natalie and the cameraman in the final scene. The video is also nicely done. There’s barely any grain to the movie and it’s all very well lit so that shadows don’t intrude on the action.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: The disc is extremely minimal in any technical ability. Although there are menus, they’re barely even advanced enough to call menus. There’s also no time stamp, which makes the DVD as a whole feel even shoddier.

Menus: Once again, Mother Productions shows what a bad first impression is. The main menu is just a screen letting you know what movie you’ve popped in without any graphics whatsoever. After you click to watch the movie you’re given a second screen which lets you choose between One, Two, Three, and Four. This was a horrible way to start the movie!

The Feature

High Heels and Nylons 9 gives you four scenes of just that. The scenes all revolve around a woman trying on outfits with different nylons and shoes.

Scene 1 - Parker

Older bottle blonde Parker starts things off stripping down to her bra and panties to try on some nude nylons. She slides on a black garter belt next, followed by a brown skirt and white shirt. She finishes things up with a pair of black heels before checking herself out in the mirror. She slides all the way out of her outfit to try on a smaller black garter belt with black stockings. She completes the outfit with a white top, black skirt, and the same black shoes, without bothering to put on any underwear. She admires herself in the mirror once again, and seems to like what she sees a little more as ths time she plays with her pussy a little. Finally, she strips down one last time to tr on a different skirt with some tan stockings. Once again she seems to like what she sees, as she diddles herself softly before the scene fades out.

This is an okay scene. Parker isn’t that attractive, although she looks like she might have been several years ago with a little care. The biggest problem here is that she shows very little emotion, and if the visuals aren’t enough to draw you in there’s nothing else here to strengthen it or bring anything else out.

Scene 2 - Lisa Linn

Lisa seems to think she’s been in her silver dress too long. She looks through her dresser to find a bright blue dress and thong which she puts on with a pair of sexy white stockings and white heels. She walks around in it a little before putting her silver dress back on and trying on a pair of dark nylons and black heels.

This is another okay scene. Lisa’s okay, but she seems uncomfortable with her body. She always takes her panties off and puts them on when she has a dress on to hide herself, making it look like she’s uncomfortable being completely nude. The camera also focuses so tightly on the stockings that the sexy outfits seem lost and the scene felt off balance.

Scene 3 - Heather Heels

Heather strips out of her work clothes to try on something sexy in the penultimate scene. She starts with a red number, and then tries a black garter belt with some nude stockings. She adds a black dress and some nice black shoes before lightly diddling herself in the mirror. She also tries out a pair of black stockings with a red dress, and touches herself frequently before finishing things up with a nice pair of black fuck-me heels.

This scene didn’t do a lot for me for one main reason, Heather Heels. Heather can have a nice sexuality about her, but has so many tattoos that when she leaves the world of adult entertainment I’m not sure if she’ll have any career choices that don’t involve the circus. Her body art completely turned me off here, and never allowed me to really get into the scene.

Scene 4 - Natalie Demore

Natalie strips out of a plain shirt and pair of pants to try on a lineup of stockings and shoes waiting for her on the couch. She goes through several different colored garter belts and stockings, and shows many different combinations. She even talks a little about the shoes as she puts them on as she works her way through the five pair set out for her. She needs to find the right pair to go with one of the many pair of nylons she has, which range from black to nude to red, and even tries on a little fishnet. Once she finds the perfect combination of a black garter belt, black stockings, and black velvet shoes, she tries it out with her bright orange top and skirt.

This is by far the best scene in the movie. Natalie is the only girl who really seems to care about her stockings or heels, and her running commentary really helps the entire thing out. She does a great job in the scene, and the only thing that could have really helped the scene was if the guy behind the camera would have known how to use the zoom function on his camera better. You rarely get to see above Natalie’s waist, and I have no doubt that she knows just how to draw the attention to her stockings and shoes while showing them off. Once again the camera work brings the scene down, but Natalie does a great job nonetheless.

High Heels and Nylons 9 leaves plenty to be desired. The best thing it has going for it is the variety of women it’s assembled. They go from plain and pretty with Lisa and Natalie to scary with Heather and past their prime with Parker. No matter what you want, with this group you should be able to find a girl who’s somewhat to your liking. Beyond that, and even with that, I was disappointed. To start with, music would have really helped the entire movie out. The girls aren’t always that sexual, and a little musical boost would have really helped this out. The camera work kept so close to the stockings as they went on and off that it held back most of the scenes by not letting them feel complete by allowing the girl to be much of a part of it. I never had the feel that whoever was behind the camera was into either high heels or nylons, and kinda doubt that the shoe budget included anything that couldn’t be picked up on sale at Payless. Natalie’s the only one who pushes things with her shoe variety, and she easily earned the prize for the best scene by giving me the feeling that she likes shoes and might have a sizeable shoe closet at home. High Heels and Nylons 9 shows that although it might sound easy to make a feature around stockings and shoes, not just anybody can do it and make it work. Skip this one even if you’re a stocking and shoe fan.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Mother Productions’ DVDs can be found online for between about $20 and $25, with very few stores offering them. I’d skip this one, and I’m a foot (and leg) freak. The scenes are slow and fairly boring, and give me the feel that whoever’s being the camera isn’t into either high heels or stockings. The technical aspects are okay, but there’s nothing really here for extras.

Note to Mother Productions: A little effort towards your overall DVDs could go a long, long way!
