Review:
The second installment of the latest Ricky Greenwood/Shawn Alff drama-drop, Grinders, has popped over at Adult Time, and this time around it's all about puppy love and partying. In contrast to the darker tone of the first episode, which largely focused upon Lucky Fate's broken relationship with his rough-around-the-edges father (Tommy Pistol), this one is more lighthearted and fun, as he kills time and fucks around with his equally "lost" friends in Los Angeles. While scorching hot in its own right, there's little doubt that this sequence intends to highlight the stark divide between the carefree joy that Lucky feels around his free-spirited peers and the emptiness of his tattered relationship with what remains of his family. (Age-old themes, no doubt, but certainly relevant to this particular period...)
In this second episode, most of the action revolves around Lucky tagging along with his happy-go-lucky boy, Robby Echo, and Echo's girlfriend, Charlotte Sins, as they head up into the hills in Robby's truck to take advantage of the swimming pool at a friend's mansion. Maya Woulfe, visiting from college, is invited and comes along, as well, and a nice blend of party-sex and sincerity ultimately ensues. Of course, the trip itself is a blast, offering up plenty of antics (some of which are captured on Sins' mini-camcorder that she totes around), as is the action that precedes it...which features some sweet, nicely-captured skateboarding, etc.
As with the first scene, the cinematography throughout is stunning, and the rock-infused musical score drives the action with its distortion-laden, pulse-pounding beat. Again, the art direction and costuming land squarely in evoking the time period (1999), and the attention to detail is spot on. Kudos!
Sex-wise, it couldn't be better, as well, with the group swimming session devolving into a poolside fuck-out between Robby and Charlotte...after Lucky and Maya have gone off to get some towels. Making use of a rock feature next to the pool, Echo and Sins can't help but to transition through one sexy position after another--oral (both), missionary, standing-rear, some of it panties-aside, etc.--before closing things out with a super-steamy butt sex session that ends with Charlotte taking it in a piledriver position and with her popped-open asshole and pussy slathered in cum. So hot! Shit!
A couple of plot developments and twists later, and it's on to the third episode...
