Initial Expectations: I’ve heard very good things about this series, and am definitely looking forward to it.

Initial Reaction: There’s a couple minor bumps, but it’s still a very well done bisexual movie.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done when you consider the age of the movie and that it’s a bisexual movie (which are notorious for poor technical aspects). The audio is nicely balanced and clear, but there are a few minor background noises. The video is nicely lit and has a touch of grain along with lighting that varies slightly throughout the movie. There’s also a little camera motion, but it’s pretty minor.

Music: The music is pretty well done. It’s got a decent porno feel to it and is just barely on the loud side of being nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu is okay, with some cheesy animation worked together with the boxcover. It’s fairly basic, but for the age of the movie it’s far from bad. The chapter menu is pretty basic, and lets you choose a scene based on a chapter number, a small clip of the scene, and a title for the chapter.

The Feature

After years of silence, Mother Goose (Chi Chi La Rue) has decided to break her silence and talk to tabloid TV reporter (Mickey Skee). After getting a lecture about being too honest for the cameras, Mother Goose, or Martha as she prefers to be called, lets them know that it’s no sweat for her to lie away about the characters in Toyland and especially the tawdry tale of Jane and Peter Peter Pumpkineater.

Scene 1 - T. J. Hart, Ethan Starr, and Tom Crooze; Candy Apples

After being married a bit, Peter Peter Pumpkineater (Wolfgang Eisenschwartz) and his wife Jane (Candy), one of the kids of the old women who lived in a shoe) are having trouble finding the spark. Here, everybody involved seemed like they didn’t care who they got it on with, with TJ feeling like she was the most unsure. She looked like she was forcing her vocals a little, but at the same time seemed fairly into it. The camera work is also very nice, and gives a nice mix of angles that does seem a bit on the gay side. The biggest downside here is TJ’s looks. TJ is a very attractive gal and somebody I often look forward to seeing in action. Sadly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her looking as rough as she does here. Even with that look and her vocals feeling a bit dead, this is a great scene to start things off with.

Scene 2 - Candy Apples and Bruce Hill

After he helps her bring the groceries home, Candy gets it on with Jack Nimble (Bruce). She offers him a cup of coffee before throwing herself at him and kissing him hard. Its’ heavily oriented towards the gyno-cam shots, and those normally don’t do a lot for me. There’s also a lot of long shots that focused on one couple or just one person that made me wonder if anything else had changed in the scene. This is a hot scene that could have been even better with a little different editing and camera work.

Scene 4 - Heaven Leigh and Obsession Demore

As Peter (Wolfgang) talks on the phone, smoking hot redhead Mary Contrary (Heaven) gets it on with brunette Miss Muffet (Obsession) on the floor. She kisses Obsession on the mouth before moving down to her nice little nipples. Heaven was one of two stars who drew me in to check this one out, and she every bit as good of a job as I remember her doing in the past. This is a nicely done lesbian scene.

Scene 5 - Candy Apples, Elizabeth X., and Leo DeSilver

Goosed! A Bisexual Fable is a very nicely done bisexual movie. There are a few things that bisexual scenes seem to be known for, and thankfully none of them raise their ugly head here. The first is poor camera work and technical aspects. Yes, there were a few areas where the camera work was a little weak, but there was also some nicely done camera work that was well edited. The other, and bigger offender, is that bisexual movies so often seem to just be gay movies with a chick thrown in here and there. Thankfully that feeling never completely rears its head here. The closest it comes is during the opening scene with TJ Hart, Ethan Starr, and Tommy Crooze, but although TJ seems out of it the guys both look like they like working on her just as much as each other. The sex is also helped out by having a very nice mix of sex acts, with most everything represented except for female anal or strap-on action for one of the guys from a girl. Finally, the movie itself is just plain fun. It feels like Anthony Rose was out to have fun when he wrote the movie, and that he then put together a cast who could enjoy it as well. There’s some nice chuckles throughout the movie, such as Mistress Ilsa Strix as Bo Peep and her flock of mansheep or the comments about Jack’s dying during a bad leap over the candlestick. Goosed! A Bisexual Fable is a very enjoyable bisexual movie, and one that’s highly recommended for bisexual film fans or as a starting point for anybody who’s curious about bisexual porn.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, Stable’s few DVDs can be found online for between about $30 and $50. That’s a lot of money, so I’d suggest renting this one before you buy it. At rental prices, this one’s definitely worth checking out. The sex is hot and has some very nice chemistry and the movie has a very fun feel. The technical aspects are respectable for the age of the movie, but there isn’t any real effort put into the extras. This is a pretty simple DVD, but for its age it’s also quite respectable.
