INTRODUCTION:
I'm not sure I have much to say in terms of introduction for this movie.  I met Axel Braun about two years ago, while he was working at Elegant Angel.  He's a nice guy, and believes in what he does, but I never have really gotten into his particular brand of porn.  If I remember correctly (and honestly, I may not), at the time, he professed more of an interest in his attempt at passion and less in porn's developing movement toward harder sex.  He was more into feature porn (or at least vignettes) with above average lighting and carefully made up women than he was into the modern, all-sex paradigm that predominates the industry today.  It seems that on his departure from Elegant Angel, he's also departed a tad from that philosophy--or at the very least he's getting work where he can, and unfortunately in this case, that seems to be in the all-all sex genre.  There isn't so much as three words spoken in each of these scenes before the fucking starts, and whether you can really call it fucking is something of a question as well.  I'd be more inclined to label it "hole pumping" than I would anything resembling good sex.  But--I'm getting ahead of myself.

I picked up this disc for one reason, and one reason only.  If you don't know me well enough to know that reason, you'll figure it out soon enough...

Nikki Loren, Ben English

Nikki is a pretty brunette with long curly hair and a nice face.  She is a bit more big-boned than most porn girls, and for some reason a little less to my liking, but that's not to say that she's unattractive by any stretch.  She's in a shower for all of 5 seconds before she emerges and has to suck the residual bubble-bath off of Ben English's lewdly oversized cock.  He wastes no time piston-pumping her mouth, and I'm already pretty much fed up with the scene.  I mean, deep throat is great.  Gagging blowjobs I can handle.  Bring on the roughhousing and dominance, I say, but this rabbit-esque cock-thrusting for no apparent reason other than to keep up some false pretense of off-the charts pornographic energy just has to go.  Things calm down a tad when Nikki finally gets her pussy filled, but only a tad, and although she's up for everything Ben dishes out (which runs the gammut of both the usual and one or two unusual positions), exhibiting some good energy, I just didn't end up finding much of interest here.  Your reaction may differ, but whether these two actually enjoyed themselves or not, the pairing wasn't presented in such a way that made me care.

Here she is--the one and only reason I picked up this movie.  I don't know what it is, but I just love Tiana Lynn.  The beautiful thing is that I don't have to have reasons why I love her, but here's one anyway...

Wait--you're telling me I need another reason?  Ok, well I've got a few more.  She's energetic in an inexplicably authentic way.  Sure, she likes to play it up for the camera, but the difference between Tiana and so many other performers out there today is that Tiana actually seems to like playing it up for the camera--you get the sense that she's not just doing it because the director told her to.  She's well known for her squirting talents, but the truth is, although I do find a little bit of enjoyment in that, I don't really care one way or the other about squirting.  What I do care about is that she manages to make me believe she's having a good time.  The energy she exhibits and the smile on her face while she does it are just icing on the cake.  What's more, she's from my home town of Tucson, Arizona and while I admit that's a uniquely personal bias, I find it to be a delightful and un-definable connection of common experience that goes beyond her abilities as a performer.  Having said all that, this, unfortunately, is not one of her best scenes.  She's pretty, no doubt.  She's as energetic as ever--that is not in question.  It's just that the scene is poorly captured.  It's badly lit, and the camera work is boring and static.  There's lots of fucking and lots of squirting and except for her forbidden rump, the guys work her over in the hard-pounding machine gun style that seems to be the primary locus of this movie.  It ends in a dual facial and Tiana looks just terrific with her cum-topped smile, but the poor video quality ultimately just takes the wind out of this scene's sails.

Stacy Thorn, Ben English

I don't want to repeat myself.  There's nothing of any notable difference between this scene and the first Ben English scene on this disc except that Stacy's hair is blonde rather than brunette.  She's still just pumped like a piece of meat with as much uncompromising ferocity as possible.  She's pretty, but not breathtaking, and given the cold fakery and repetitive mechanics of the action, it really doesn't matter much anyway.  I marvel at how something that requires so much energy on the part of the performers can be so interminably boring to watch.  What a shame.

Avena Lee, Marco Duato

The entirety of this scene happens outdoors on a very uncomfortable looking brick and mortar, poolside decking.  The lighting is natural, but the camera doesn't seem well adjusted for it as there are a lot of harsh shadows--a problem that varies in intensity depending on how close or how far the camera is from the performers.  I don't know how to run a camera, but my guess is this could have looked a lot better than it did.  Avena is attractive, and has a tight little body with dark hair and a nice smile.  Marco is very attractive in that body-builder kind of way, and in terms of location this scene is a bit of a change of pace from the rest of those on the disc.  The problem is that the pace of the sex itself isn't really all that different.  It's still hard and fast fucking, although Marco does seem to pay a little more attention to his partner than say, Ben English did.  I can't say for sure whether the performers had a hard time in the somewhat sex-unfriendly environment, but I can say that I was driven to distraction by the idea that Avena might be hurting her poor knees when she was being fucked doggy-style on the bricks.  They didn't have enough passion for each other, or for what they were doing to convince me that they wouldn't care about hurting themselves in the process.  I really don't know, but what I do know is that the sex itself was uninteresting enough for me to find myself brooding about these things, and that, unfortunately, is all that really matters.

Kandy Kane, Zenza Raggi

I like Kandy's body, and for the 2 seconds you actually see it, I like her infectious, if top-heavy, smile too.  She's a black girl with pretty, medium sized breasts and sleek legs.  Beyond that, this is pretty much the same scene all over again.  Hard, fast fucking in lots of positions until the end when he comes on her lips.  Anything else I might say at this point would just be chewing the cud.

EXTRAS:
A few trailers, a photo gallery, and a cumshot recap are among the standard extra features provided by Digital Sin's DVDs.  This disc also has a bonus scene from China Syndrome with Lucy Lee in a somewhat rough, DP laden outing.  The same bonus scene was offered on the Nuttin' Hunnies disc I recently reviewed, so, for me there's nuttin' new there.  The main attraction for me, though, is the behind the scenes.  It has some impromptu interview footage with Kandy, Avena and Nikki, and even if some of the questions are pretty porny and stupid, the girls' personalities do come through here and there--at least a heck of a lot more than they did during the sex scenes.

OVERALL:
Tiana's scene is easily the best of the bunch for my tastes, if only because she actually seems like she might want to be there.  It's a mediocre scene by Tiana's standards, but at least it gave me a spark of life in the middle of an otherwise non-wood-inspiring movie.  The girls are fairly attractive, but the camera work and lighting is just flat bad, and in the absence of any kind of context for the straight-on fucking, the sex and how it's captured is all I've got to go on.  The naughty stuff is hyper-active, seemingly for the sake of the "Goin' Deep" (and hard) theme, and not necessarily because that's what the performers enjoyed doing.  That was my reaction anyway.  Far be it for me to pretend to know what anyone was really feeling, or what they really like.  The point is, apart from some nice moments in Tiana's scene, I didn't like what I was watching.  And if you're anything like I am, I'm guessing you won't much like it either.
