Initial Expectations: Luc Wylder has an amazing ability to bring great chemistry and emotion out in scenes. It’s something that makes me look forward to every one of his movies.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced, but does go in and out quite a bit. This draws attention to both the music and the audio from the stars, and gives the feature a slightly artistic feel. There’s a couple moments that appear to be dubbed, but they’re few, far between, and barely noticeable. In what I think is a first for Fallen Angel, Girl Time is presented in the widescreen format. Sadly, it’s non-anamorphic, but it’s great to see even a smaller studio moving towards acceptance of the widescreen format. There’s some noticeable pixelation throughout the feature, but well lit with good camera angles.

Music: The music is very pleasing. It’s laid back and sexy, and not something that I’d expect to hear in porn. It ranges from being very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio to being the only audio, and actually contributed to my enjoyment of this movie.

Disc Complaints: When you choose to watch the feature, you’re forced to watch the Freedom and Censorship commercial from the Free Speech Coalition that’s been around as long as I’ve been able to legally watch porn and the sexual situations disclaimer. I have nothing against the Free Speech Coalition or a disclaimer, but don’t force me to watch a commercial I could have already seen hundreds of times already. You can’t skip past the commercial, and if you try to scan through it on a DVD-ROM, the DVD stops and lets you restart the entire DVD again. This left me more than a little ticked off, and I’m deducting a half point from the overall score because of it. I really hope this was a fluke or a one time occurrence!

Menus: The menus are nicely done but simple. The main menu blends a bit of the movie with a still, while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature: Alexandra Silk is back, and has invited a few of her friends to take a weekend away at Big Bear. After Alex introduces everybody around, she breaks out a bad of pyrex dildos. The girls quickly get into pairs and groups, and let go of a little stress.

Alexandra Silk and Roxanne Hall start things off. Roxanne eats Alex and lets her spank her ass before working on Alex’s snatch with a dildo and fingering her ass. They share the dildo as a double before Alex works on Roxanne’s ass with another toy. Alexandra gets the toy in her can also, as well as taking a dildo in her snatch for a DP. After a quick recap, the girls end things kissing in each others arms. It’s a darn hot scene with more than a little nastiness to it. It’s a great opening scene, and has great chemistry and no shortage of energy.

Malitia and Simone Pierce take a break from going hiking to get to know each other better in another way. Malitia works over Simone’s pierced pussy with her tongue, fingers, and a jackrabbit before letting Simone return the favor. Both girls don rubber gloves, and Simone fingers Malitia while Malitia fingers her own ass. Finally, Simone lets Malitia work on her ass with a toy before they decide to head back to the cabin. It’s another nice scene, and has a very different feel from the previous scene. There’s great chemistry once again, but it isn’t as intense as the other scene.

Katie Morgan gets it on with Veronica Lace, who claims to have never been with a woman before. They take turns eating each other before Katie goes to work on Veronica with a vibe. Veronica returns the favor as Katie begs her to keep fucking her harder before they finally end things with a few short and passionate kisses. It’s a great scene, especially because Veronica looks to be a natural. I had my doubts about this being her first lesbian experience, but she does confirm it in the behind the scenes. The girls are nicely into each other, and go after each other in a very believable way. They’re also extremely cute, which helps things too!

Pantera starts out the next scene giving Rio a full body massage that has problems getting past Rio’s breasts. After some light kissing, Rio kisses Pantera’s pussy and sucks her toes. They kiss a little more before Pantera works on Rio with a vibe, including some DP action. Finally, Pantera fingers her own ass while Rio fucks her with a vibe. Rio has never done much for me, but she’s very good here. Pantera also does a great job, and the two of them continue Luc’s streak of scenes with amazing chemistry and very believable sex.

Finally, the girls all hook up for an orgy after Roxanne returns from shopping. There’s plenty of everything for the orgy, including several DPs, a lot of anal, and some nice rimming. The girls swap around very nicely to take care of each other, and put the toys to plenty of good use. They even get out some oil. In a very nice touch, they decide to team up to treat Pantera to finish things up, since as the masseuse Pantera was there to make all of them feel good. It’s a great way to end things, and shows some nice emotion among the cast also.

Girl Time is a nicely done all girl feature with some of the usual touches of Luc Wylder. Every scene has great chemistry and is very believable in its feel. The format is very nice by letting the girls pair up to show what they can do, and then have a full cast orgy to finish things up. It’s something that I think a lot of people would like to see in a feature like this, and it really does work great here. This is no surprise here, as Luc normally excels in letting the performers do what they do best as they want to. The surprising part is the camera work and editing. As much as I like some things about Luc’s movies, the camera work and editing always seemed a little weak. I can’t say that here. Yes, it des make some artistic moves throughout the feature, but it all feels natural, and is very pleasing to both the eyes and ears. My only complaint here is that with toys in every scene, the scenes occasionally feel similar rather than unique. It is a minor problem, as the chemistry and energy is nice enough throughout the movie that I really didn’t care. Girl Time is well worth making time for, and will hopefully become another series for Luc Wylder and Adam & Eve.

Extras: The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with about seven seconds per very nice looking snapshot. Trailers are included for Sex Across America 7: Los Angeles, Amateur Angels 7, Adult Stars at Home, and Sex Across America 8: Seattle. Bios are included for Alexandra Silk, Roxanne Hall, Simone Pryce, Militia, Rio, Pantera, Katie Morgan, and Veronica Lace. There’s also a behind the scenes featurette, phone sex commercials and internet information.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty minutes. As usual, Luc does a great job on focusing on the personality of the stars. You don’t get to see much of the scenes actually being shot, but you get to see plenty of the girls getting ready for the scenes. There’s a lot of focus given to the girls going through the toy box for the movie, and it’s more than a little fun to watch. There’s a few nice interviews, especially with Veronica Lace focusing on her first girl - girl scenes and with Katie Morgan, who looks like she’s a heck of a lot of fun. It’s a really great behind the scenes featurette, and well worth checking out for anybody who enjoyed the movies or is a fan of the stars.

Overall: Currently, Girl Time can be found online for between $13 and $28 with several stores offering it near the low end. If you’re a fan of all girl action, check this one out! There’s great chemistry and believable energy in every scene. The technical aspects aren’t much above average, but there’s a great behind the scenes featurette in the extras.

Note to Fallen Angel / Adam & Eve: It’s great to see you supporting the widescreen format, but I hope you take it all the way to anamorphic widescreen next time! I also hope that this turns into a series!
