Getting Off Campus Review

BLUE PICTURES IS GYPPING US BIG TIME WITH THIS HALF-ASSED DVD TRANSFER.
In its original VHS release there were five scenes. Blue Pictures has transferred only three of these, totally ignoring the plot. As they have given us a film that is only 51 minutes long, there is no reason for them to HAVE CUT TWO OF THE FILMS BEST SCENES!

The film opens with Michael Cummings—a cute young twink, a dependable regular in pre-condom films, who is making his debut here—answering an ad for off-campus living. He is greeted by Brandon Wilde, a handsome and hairy young stud. It turns out that both are film students. Brandon shows Michael a film he just made for class.

In the film, slender blond Pat Allen is squeezing oranges as he watches adorable Chris Thomas—wearing only bathing trunks—cleaning the pool. He takes Chris a glass of orange juice and suggests he take a swim. Pat strips naked and joins him. They frolic in the pool until Pat suggests they go inside. When Pat gets out of the water, he has a hard dick.
Once inside, Pat gets Chris to lie down on the bed. Here begins a very nice seduction of the somewhat willing Chris. (Once you’ve got a hard dick in your mouth you’re home free.) Before things are over Chris gives Pat a long and vigorous fucking.

Michael enjoyed the movie and decides to read Brandon his script. It begins: “Once upon a time there were two beautiful boys.” The two beautiful boys are Ryder Hanson and Dane Ford. Ryder is too old to be called a “boy’ but he’s a nice young stud with an uncut dick. Dane is a pretty blond. They suck dick and Dane gets fucked.

Brandon now reads one of his stories to Michael. “Setting: a bedroom. Two guys are in bed with hard-ons." They are Blake McDonald, a nicely muscled young twink—who, like Michael is making his debut here—and David Ashfield who seemed to be in nearly every pre-condom feature (at least his dick was). David was sort of gooney, but he had a dick that never failed to get hard, and so was a dependable performer and the stunt-dick of choice by all directors. (He even stunt-dicked for Ryan Idol in one film.) Blake is the recipient of David’s dependable dick.

IT IS AT THIS POINT THAT THE BLUE PICTURES VERSION ENDS!

In the complete VHS version, we have Michael turned on by Brandon’s tale and he and Brandon go at it. (It’s the scene we’ve been waiting for!)

Then there is a final scene of Michael and Brandon making a movie together starring two beautiful young twinks: Chris Allen and Ricky Turner. These two make out before a roaring fire with Ricky giving petit blond Chris a manly fuck.

Blue Pictures manages to get some phone sex ads and other shit onto the DVD so why the fuck have they omitted these two scenes?
The only answer is that they thought three scenes were enough for us fags, so screw us. (This is not the only time they have pulled this trick!) Well, I say screw Blue Pictures! Write the money-grubbing bastards and tell them to treat us fairly. Meantime see if you can find the VHS.
