Initial Expectations: The original Gettin’ Wet: Ladies First gave me mixed emotions, but the sex was good enough for me to look forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: Unfortunately, it falls prey to the old sequel curse.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio and video are both very good. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but does have a little bit of dubbing. The video is pretty clear, but it does have a little bit of grain. There are also a few shadow problems that occur here and there.

Music: The music is pretty typical porno music, but is nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu has a nice little bit of animation and music that gave a slightly fun feel. The chapter menu offers a small clip of the scene along with a title for the scene. It’s a pretty standard way of showing the chapters, but I always like it better when at least the female talent is listed in the menu.

False Advertising: Taylor Moore (listed here as Leah), appears in the opening credits, but never in the feature. Luckily Adam & Eve pays enough attention to their product to not list her on the cover, so I’m not penalizing them for the problem in the movie.

The Feature: Gettin’ Wet: Last Howl tells about the bachelor party that Alec Metro tries to throw for Kyle Stone on a houseboat. Kyle’s not really interested about the party, and isn’t really sure he wants to get married either. Luckily, it’s a porno so the other guys can have a lot of sex rather than concentrating on a whiney Kyle Stone.

Barett Moore, playing a stripper, starts things off with Alec Metro after Kyle Stone doesn’t want his first bachelor party present. The strip down and feel each other up a little before Barett drops down to wrap her lips around Alec’s cock. She puts some nice energy into sucking his shaft, and gives him some nice eye contact as well. This let me down a bit after how hot and heavy the girls were going at it to start the scene.

After rescuing them from drifting on the lake, Tye, a cute brunette with a very nice body, tries to thank Alec Metro properly. Gettin’ Wet: Last Howl is a pretty standard and stereotypical adult film. There’s no real plot, and what’s there is just an obvious excuse to get people bumping uglies. The cast does a pretty good job here, but they never seem to completely fulfill the potential of the scenes. Some suffer from a lack of positions, while others suffer from a changing mood. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come close to matching the heat and chemistry of Gettin’ Wet: Ladies First. It also doesn’t really match much of anything, other than the cast, of Gettin’ Wet: Ladies First. At the end of the other movie Taylor Moore, who never appears here outside of the opening credits, mentions sending the girls over to the bachelor party. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to think that perhaps a movie with an almost identical name that’s about a bachelor party would be about this. Unfortunately it’s not, which if you watch them back to back, as I did, leaves you scratching the wrong head. Gettin’ Wet: Last Howl is good for a rental, but that’s about it.

Extras: There’s not much of anything for extras here. Web site information is included, of course, as is a photo gallery. The photo gallery lasts about a minute and three quarters with about six seconds per nice looking framed photo.

Overall: Gettin’ Wet: Last Howl is a pretty average feature in every way. The sex and transfer are both average, but the extras really lack.

Note to Adam & Eve: It’s nice to see you bringing some of your back catalogue out on DVD, especially ones such as this where other parts of the series are already available.
