Fuzz is an early hardcore adult film from an uncredited director that tries hard to be a comedy but ultimately is not much more than a sequence of mostly softcore sex scenes without much rhyme or reason. The plot for Fuzz is primarily nonsensical, and much of the runtime of the film is spent just with the setup, leaving virtually no time for the scenario to play out.

The plot for the film is that a brothel is running a thinly disguised advert for johns that catches the attention of the vice squad. The vice squad sends Al Bonneville (William Howard) to infiltrate the house of ill repute and catch the prostitutes in the carnal act.

As previously stated, by the time the film manages to get the entire set-up for the movie in place, the film is almost over. The bulk of the film shows the various respondents from the advert coming to the house and getting serviced one by one, so the story is a throwaway.

The sex scenes aren't that great either. Despite the presence of hardcore material in the film, most of what is shown in the sex scenes is softcore material. The sex scenes aren't overly erotic, and the technical aspects of the film are rather low.

Honestly, Fuzz is an easy title to skip. The film doesn't have much at all going for it. The plot is a waste, and the sex scenes are at best average. There are far better adult films to watch and spend your time on.

The edition of Fuzz screened is the streaming-only edition available on Exploitation.TV. Vinegar Syndrome has done a decent job with their streaming-only version of Fuzz. Fuzz was shot on film, and it looks like Vinegar Syndrome has used a film print for this release. Fuzz is presented in the Academy aspect ratio of 1.33:1 pillarboxed to the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1. The image quality for Fuzz is decent with heavy artifacts and print damage. The colors in the film are decent.

There is an English monaural audio track for Fuzz. The audio presentation is good with crackles and pops. There are some jumps in the audio. The dialog in the film is clear and easy to understand at all times.

Vinegar Syndrome hasn't included any extras for their streaming-only edition of Fuzz.

Fuzz is a disappointing adult feature film that attempts to be a comedy but doesn't work that well. The film is hardcore; however, most of the sexual footage ends up being softcore. The film has a solid cast, but the cast isn't given much to do at any point during the movie. Fuzz probably isn't worth your effort to watch. Vinegar Syndrome has done a decent job with their streaming-only edition of Fuzz on Exploitation.TV with decent audio and video quality.
