Review:
“Friends 4 Life” is a good production from Michael Raven and Wicked Pictures that features Barrett Blade as an egocentric guy who encounters—and is ultimately stalked by–his self-proclaimed “best friend forever”, Eric Masterson. Despite his obvious, obsessive shortcomings, Eric still manages to sleep with Barrett’s on-and-off girlfriend, Alektra Blue, and even his mother, Janet Mason, by the time all is said and done. In so doing, he brings Barrett to an epiphany about both himself and his life—bizarre, but it more or less works. Now, how about the sex? This is a porno after all.

Sexually speaking, this DVD showcases Wicked contract performer, Alektra Blue, and is generally good. Alektra has three sequences—a boy-girl with Barrett Blade in a bedroom (Scene One), a boy-girl with Eric Masterson on a sofa at Barrett’s place (Scene Three), and a girl-girl-girl with Mikayla Mendez and Kiara Diane (Scene Four). The scene with Barrett includes some hot doggie-style action on the edge of the bed and some sexy cowgirl work amongst its highlights. The pop-shot for this overall very good scene is dropped on Alektra’s breasts and chest, and it’s followed up by some oral cock clean-up—hot stuff! The segment with Eric Masterson is excellent and also the best on the disc. Amongst the better moments of this sequence are the blowjob skills (including mild face-fucking) that Alektra employs and also the cowgirl riding and grinding that she does. Closing this scorcher out is another money-shot to the breasts for—and some oral cock clean-off by—Ms. Blue. This is some sexy material. The three-way lesbian tryst that Alektra has with Mikayla and Kiara is another very good one—this time more so for the looks of the performers than for the actual sex, which doesn’t show a lot of variety. Indeed, it’s pretty much just fingers and tongues on the agenda here—so this one isn’t stellar in the sex department. That said—and as noted—the beauty of the participants alone manages to raise it up a notch.

Along with her all-girl romp above, Mikayla also has a good-to-very-good encounter with Barrett Blade. This coupling takes place in a fantasy that Barrett is having and by the open glass doors that lead back to a patio (Scene Two). The side-entry (which appears to include a single, accidental instance of anal penetration) and the standing rear-entry positionings are amongst the highlights here. The cum-shot—which could have been captured better—is delivered to Mikayla’s face, chest, neck, and breasts…and is followed up with a touch of oral cock clean-off. The final sequence involves Eric Masterson and Janet Mason in a living room with a fancy, light-brown sofa (Scene Five). The blowjob / hand-job work that Janet administers, as well as the missionary-like and standing rear-entry positions that the pair employs, bring this one up to the very good level. Erik pops on Janet’s breasts, and there is a bit of oral cock clean-off to cap off the festivities.

Some other items are also worth mentioning, as well. The disc is a bit on the short side, and—at least on my copy (?)—there is a glitch that froze my computer and that had my separate blu-ray player skipping ahead a few minutes. This is likely just my copy, but it would be wise to check other reviews to be certain before purchasing. Fortunately, this glitch—either way—doesn’t occur during the actual sex. Otherwise, the audio and visual quality for this production is solid. As noted in the intro paragraph, the plot is quite good for a porno, as are the settings that are utilized. Every once in awhile, a bizarre angle is employed during the sex, but this isn’t really anything to be concerned about, either.

In terms of bonus materials and other options, there are a number of “Trailers” to be watched—six in the “Special Features”, two that play upon inserting the disc, and then the trailer for this production itself is present in the Main Menu, as well. There is a “Bonus Sex Scene…” featuring a boy-girl, Alektra Blue sequence from the production, “Lies”—this is a very nice addition. Further, there is a “Photo Gallery” that puts forth a slideshow of “pretty-girl” shots and stills from the movie. There is also a “Promo Reel” that highlights the various Wicked contract performers in elegant settings, and there’s a “More Adult Fun” selection that plays through phone-sex ads and the like. Finally, there is a “DVD-ROM Materials” option that gives instructions for use of the disc on a computer. Sadly, there isn’t any Behind the Scenes material presented for this production.

All in all, “Friends 4 Life” is a good, plot-driven adult film that would likely appeal to couples who don’t want to spend forever watching a porno together. It would likely also be good for fans of Alektra Blue, as she is featured in three of the five sequences here. For everyone else, it might be best to rent first.
