Foxy Lady (Cal Vista Classics) Review

Review:
Things go from bad to worse for a down-on-his-luck gambler, John Leslie, when a couple of lowlife thugs decide to kidnap his wife, rape her incessantly, and then demand a ransom that he has no legitimate way of coming up with. Such is the case in "Foxy Lady", an overall-good, 1977 release from VCX and director Jack Genero. Featuring a strong, action-themed plot, exceptional acting by Leslie and the female leads (Valerie Driskell and Sandy Pinney), and fairly steamy sex (...albeit largely nonconsensual...), this film will certainly appeal to fans of Golden Age classics. Indeed, it has most of the elements that connoisseurs of the genre look for and embrace. Now, that's not to say, of course, that it's perfect by any stretch of the imagination, either, as its transfer to digital isn't without noticeable distortions and certainly could have been better. Further, it does have some holes in its storyline, including toward the end, where its twist ending (...which is mostly for the best...) finishes off rather abruptly and unbelievably before the final cut. That all said, it's a porno, and for a porno, it's more than good enough in its narrative to outdo most modern adult endeavors. So, for fans of nostalgic nookie, John Leslie, and/or old-school features where a legitimate attempt at a "real movie" has been made, this one's worth a look...particularly if its relatively minor flaws can be overlooked.

In terms of the sex, Scene One pairs up John Leslie and a girl who picks him up at the bar, Kristine Heller, and takes him back to her place to relieve some of his marital and financial stress. As the boinking begins, Kristine beckons her friend, "Linda", to join them, as John wants to put it in someone's ass, and she's apparently the go-to girl for such things (girl-girl, vaginal--Heller, anal(?)--"Linda" ; pop on "Linda"'s ass, with Kristine cleaning up thereafter with her mouth). In Scene Two, John and his wife, the frizzy-haired brunette, Valerie Driskell, get together back at their pad for a fireside fucking (oral, vaginal ; cum-shot on her ass out of doggy, cummy reinsertion). Scene Three has two thugs, Seth Wagner and Lee Turner, raping Valerie at their secluded island shack after kidnapping her (oral--Turner, vaginal--Wagner ; load on her tummy and bush out of spooning by Wagner--reinsertion). In Scene Four, Turner further rapes Valerie at gunpoint, as an Asian co-conspirator, Kim Yoko, pops by and joins in (girl-girl, oral--Driskell, vaginal--both ladies). Scene Five finds Seth Wagner slapping his dick in a hotdog bun, putting some mustard on it (..."French's", by the way...) and force-feeding it to Valerie (oral ; facial). In Scene Six, Valerie runs into a homeless Pharoah Amos after escaping her captors. She sucks him off in trying to get him to help her out (oral ; facial). The scene continues with him taking her again, this time by eating her out and then giving her a lengthy, deep-dicking, which is certainly better than "fucking the mud down by the stream" (SMH...) (vaginal ; pop on her inner-thigh out of reverse-cowgirl). Scene Seven pairs up John and Sandy Pinney, a friend who's joined up with him in his quest, for a quick BJ in his car (facial). Hot stuff!
