Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally clear and well balanced. The video is much the same way, and rarely even suffers from shadow problems.

Music: The music varies between being nicely balanced with the rest of the audio and being just a little too loud. It would normally seem like a pretty good balance, but unlike most porn music, the music here has lyrics. The vocals in the music sometimes get tied up with the moans and trash talking in the scenes, which is occasionally a little annoying.

Menus: The menus are very simple. The main menu has a small clip from the feature and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a still of the scene and a scene number.

The Feature: Kyle Stone and Anthony Crane have escaped from jail and surprisingly don’t want to go back to the cable TV, gym, three meals a day, and other luxuries convicts get that many working people can’t afford. Lee Stone, as ace private investigator Peter Magnum, is called in to track them down, but gets caught up with a couple girls who might be able to provide him with a little information. As he trails them, Anthony and Kyle learn a little about each other and find that there might be a reason to stay free in waitress Sky Taylor and veterinarian Chenin Blanc.

Kylie Ireland stops by Lee Stone’s office for lunch. Lee starts out with his dessert first as he eats the hair pie Kylie spreads out for him on his desk. Kylie, on the other hand, starts off her meal licking and sucking on Lee’s meat before she takes it into her snatch. It’s a pretty good scene, but nothing really outstanding. The biggest surprise to me was that Kaylynn actually kisses Nikita. This is a girl that won’t kiss any man because it’s too personal, but appears to be bisexual and will kiss women. I won’t get into taking two cocks inside her at the same time not being personal.

Lee Stone investigates at the Pink Hotel, and in his investigation discovers what Nikita Denise and Kaylynn were missing in the last scene, a man. Bob Chinn’s Fallen Angels does a good job of trying to make porn couples friendly. There’s a lot of plot, but unlike most of the normal Peter Magnum movies, it isn’t about Peter Magnum. Instead Anthony Crane and Kyle Stone get to show their acting chops. They do a pretty good job, and mix up some stereotypical gangster stuff with some decent humor. It’s an okay idea, but doesn’t really seem to go anywhere. It also seems to drag the movie down a little as there are quite a few times when it seems extremely long. The sex is mostly pretty average, with Kylie Ireland leading the way and Sky Taylor also putting in some great effort into her scene. The sex is quite a bit nastier than I expected, with a double penetration and a couple anal scenes, but other than that is very couples friendly. The biggest problem with the sex is the cast doesn’t always seem to be completely into it, which can be a big problem. Luckily there isn’t any scene where both people look like they’re just there to collect a check, but it does get in the way of some of the scenes. Fallen Angels is a decent idea, but with a little better casting and another rewrite or three for the script it could have been a lot better.

Extras: The only real extra, outside of a trailer for Blonde in Black Leather, is a behind the scenes featurette that lasts about a half hour. There’s a few small interviews with the cast and what else is happening around the set, which should be a requirement of any movie with Anthony Crane, but most of the featurette focuses on the photo gallery and the scenes themselves being shot. It also captures some of the bloodshed around the shoot, such as the dog attacking Kyle, Lee getting a bottle broken over his head, and another of Lee’s experiences. It’s a pretty good behind the scenes featurette, but I would have liked a few more interviews with the cast. I also would have liked to see a little of Kylie Ireland and Chenin Blanc’s scenes, which unfortunately are missing here.

Overall: Most of New Era’s DVDs can be found for around $20 to $25. It’s an okay movie that’s big on plot with pretty average sex. It’s raised up slightly above average by a very good transfer and behind the scenes featurette.

Note to New Era: A few more chapters that are a little better placed would be very nice. Most people like to at least have one at the start of the sex and one for the start of the plot sequences.
