Facade (Vivid) Review

Screenwriter Nick (Randy Spears) has been having a pretty good day until he arrives home to find his wife, Faye (Sydnee Steele) screwing his pal, Mark (Bobby Vitale) in FACADE (2000, Vivid) that is directed by Paul Thomas and well-shot by Ralph Parfait. Nick calmly makes a few phone calls then quickly informs the cheating couple that there's going to be a party at the house that night that includes Mark's wife Pam (Inari Vachs in a terrific performance) and a few others from the film industry. The rest of the xxx film details what happens at the party in this terrific feature with one major issue that detracts Condoms. Widescreen. About 100 minutes.

So, folks start arriving at the party. Pam arrives with Tess (April) and shallow film director Joe (Vince Voyeur) stays in the car where he and Kari (busty Asian, Kira Kener) suck and fuck before the party ever gets started.

The group starts outdoors with some lame dancing in the dark then comes inside for a tense encounter with a mostly mute pizza delivery guy (Erik Everhard) as Faye makes his delivery more than a bit confusing and uncomfortable.

With the cheating spouses revealed, the cheated-on couple of Nick and Pam take off to a quiet place where they sit and discuss whether fucking each other is really what the other one wants in a terrific exchange. (Cue a pretty solid encounter between Spears and Vachs complete with a a few different anal positions but also there's an encounter with Kira Kener and Erik Everhard that is inter cut; this needless bit of hanky panky really detracts from this feature---there's absolutely no reason for it except to give Ms. Kener more to do)

Nick and Pam return to the party where Pam confronts hubby Mark as to what he wants. She says if he wants an open marriage then he better get used to her fucking other guys. So, Pam makes Mark watch as she goes down on Joe and soon Kari and Tess are groping Mark as the trio watch the other duo in the couch across from them. (Cue a pretty solid encounter with a highlight that includes Inari reverse-cowgirl riding Vince while she witnesses the straight sex three-way occurring between Vitale, Kener and April)

Meanwhile, with the others indoors fucking in the living room, the host and hostess are outdoors where they are repairing their wounded relationship. (Cue a terrific bedroom encounter with Randy Spears and Sydnee Steele that concludes with some anal positions including an anal pile driver in the middle of their bed)

Randy kicks the other guests out of their house in a favor of a nice little reveal that wraps up this solid feature in fine fashion.

Extras Features include 4 Vivid Bonus Rooms a Photo Gallery and Previews so there's plenty there.

So, let's figure out what to do with FACADE (2000, Vivid) and its solid story filled with adult themes. Paul Thomas does a marvelous job here with casting and execution of what's essentially a simple day-in-the-life type of tale. Randy Spears does his usual fine job plus Sydnee Steele gets to be naughty in and out of the sack; however, the real surprise here is the depth given the Pam character and that Inari Vachs nails it for the most part. The rest of the cast is pretty good especially the other males, Voyeur and Vitale, then April and Kira Kener are fine window dressing.

So, how to explain that extra Kener sex screen that so disrupts the flow of this terrific tale? She has two other sexual encounters like the rest of the cast. Edit out her bit with Everhard (or better yet drop it into the special features) and FACADE really has much to show for itself as the focus stays on Spears' character of Nick and, to a lesser extent, Inari Vachs' character of Pam. As is, that encounter detracts in a large enough way to drop this feature from a top rating to a !!!! outta !!!!!

Still, hunt down FACADE and give this perfect-for-couples flick a watch.
