The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Something about this one makes me nervous, and I’m not sure what.

Initial Reaction: There’s a little twinkle there, but it didn’t put me under its spell.

Who Should Watch It : Couples wanting something light

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting plenty of plot or a bit of sex on the nastier side of things

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don’t think I heard a single background noise. The video shows a bit of age. The lighting varies a little throughout the movie and there’s a little grain throughout. It’s not bad enough to really interfere with the movie, and when it was released was probably pretty good.

Music: The music is a little loud and very cheesy. It’s easy to hear that this movie was made in the nineties.

Menus: The menus are pretty good. The main menu is nicely animated and gives a good first impression. The chapter menu is pretty standard, and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

There are some things a witch just shouldn’t do. Setting her romantic sites on a mere mortal is one of them. Serenity is feeling the need to push her boundaries a little, and does just that. If pushing the boundaries chasing Tony Tedeschi isn’t enough, she actually decides to try and make him fall for her without using magic.

Scene 1 - Serenity and Mickey G.

After dancing together, Mickey and Serenity move past a little chatting to kiss passionately. Mickey picks Serenity up and moves her to the top of the bar as they strip down, and proceeds to work his mouth across her great body and down to her pussy. She rewards him with a nice slow sucking and stroking before laying back down on the bar for a little missionary work. They get down off the bar so Serenity can take it from behind before she finally takes Mickey’s milk of man-esia across her great tits.

This is an okay scene. It feels a little soft, and the chemistry isn’t always the best. Worst of all is the music, which made me want to laugh at the scene rather than get turned on by it.

Scene 2 - Heaven Lee and Tony Tedeschi

When Tony comes home Heaven decides he really needs some loving. They kiss before she helps Tony strip down so she can mouth his manhood. Tony reciprocates with a little tonguing for each of Heaven’s holes before moving back up and fucking her missionary style. She rolls over so Tony can fuck her like a dog while she rubs her rosebud, and finally takes a pop from Tony on her chin.

This is a decent scene. Heaven has a very stereotypical look to her, but I couldn’t help but like her since she put such great enthusiasm into the scene. There’s nice chemistry and energy to the scene, and it moves along nicely. This is a pretty good scene.

Scene 3 - Alyssa Love, Chloe, and Tom Byron

After helping Tom cast a love spell, Alyssa and Chloe can’t resist getting it on with each other. Alyssa immediately finds herself sucking on Tom as Chloe works her over from behind, and then climbs up to ride him cowgirl style. Chloe moves in to eat Alyssa’s ass while she rides Tom before letting Tom take her from behind while Alyssa watches. Tom takes another poke at Alyssa before spraying his seed between the girls as they do their best baby bird impressions.

This is a slightly above average scene. There’s some okay energy, but the chemistry is more than a little lopsided. Ninety percent of the chemistry in the scene is between Alyssa and Tom, with Chloe getting about ten percent with each of them. The scene moves along nicely and there’s some decent energy, but the lopsided feel to the chemistry throws the scene off.

Scene 4 - Serenity and Jacklyn Lick

After a tarot card reading, Serenity and Jacklyn get busy. Their clothes magically disappear so Jacklyn can start working on Serenity’s coochie with her tongue and fingers. Serenity returns the favor on Jacklyn’s twat before coming up to kiss her and let Jacklyn suckle her nipples. She lays back so Jacklyn can have another taste of her honeypot before they magically appear at opposite ends of a double dildo. Finally, the girls end things with a kiss.

This is a pretty good scene. Jacklyn and Serenity have great chemistry together and look like they’re having a lot of fun the entire time. I would have liked another position and maybe a little more toy play, but the scene works well as is.

Scene 5 - Alyssa Love, Chloe, Heaven Lee, Sean Michaels, and Tom Byron

After Heaven’s freed from her inhibitions, she helps Alyssa take on Tom orally while Chloe goes to work on Sean’s dark chocolate stick. Chloe moves on to let Sean take her from behind, and is copied by Alyssa and Tom. The girls move on with a little missionary style after changing positions so Alyssa can get a little black cock while Tom nails Heaven. Alyssa also lets Sean fuck her doggie style before taking a facial finish, while Chloe sucks Tom to a facial with Heaven riding his face.

This is a pretty good scene. There’s a fun feeling to it and the chemistry isn’t too bad. The girls put some nice energy in as well, but the camera doesn’t always do the best job of capturing it. I can’t help but think that this would have been a much better scene if it went about half again as long.

Scene 6 - Serenity and Tony Tedeschi

Finally, Serenity and Tony get it on in a fancy bed. Tony starts things out energetically eating Serenity’s snatch before she puts her oral skills to work on his cock in reciprocation. Serenity lays back so Tony can fuck her missionary style and then turns around so he can take her from behind. Finally, Serenity lets Tony nut on her great ass.

This is an okay scene. It seems a little unsure of whether it wants to be hard and dirty or pretty and passionate. Instead it ends up feeling pretty, but having a lot of energy and chemistry that almost seem out of place compared to most of the movie. It makes for a nice ending, but I think it would have worked a little better with a more straightforward approach.

Enchanted is a pretty standard porno. The story is simple, but works pretty good to set up the sex rather than just shoving the scenes into a bit of a story. It’s really helped out by Serenity’s acting talent, and Tom Byron does just as good of a job adding a bit of humor to the movie. Surprisingly, the sex might actually be the weakest part of the movie. Granted, it’s above average, but there wasn’t anything here that really grabbed me by the short hairs (or lack thereof) and told me to pay attention. It’s nice and all that, but the chemistry wavered throughout the movie and the camera work and editing were pretty average. Of course, the early and mid nineties weren’t exactly a renaissance period for porn, and at this time things were finally starting to pull out of it and improve. You can see a little of that improvement in Enchanted, but the magic isn’t always there.

The photo gallery lasts about a minute and three quarters with about four seconds per nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. Trailers are included for The Bride of Double Feature, Crazed, Double Feature!, Dream Quest, Flashpoint, Heartache, Hell on Heels, The Kissing Game, Knockout, Pornogothic, Satyr, Sex Safari, Spellbound, Vengeance, and Working Girl. Star stats with a few photos of the star, a little personal information, and a link ot the star’s scene are included for Serenity, Chloe, and Jacklyn Lick. There’s also a star photo gallery for each of the three girls lasting from about a half minute to just over a minute as well as a behind the scenes photo gallery lasting almost a minute. Finally, there’s bloopers, promotional materials, a company profile, web links, a listing of Wicked’s award winning and nominated movies, the Wicked Casino, and a commercial for the Free Speech Coalition.

The blooper reel lasts almost four minutes. There’s plenty of flubbed lines as well as a few physical mishaps. There’s even a little fun on the set. It’s a nice collection of bloopers, and one of the best blooper reels I’ve seen in a while.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most Wicked DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $30 with most stores offering them around $22. Rent this one first or aim low. There isn’t anything bad with this one, but there’s nothing special either. The technical aspects are decent and there’s a little effort put into the extras.

Note to Wicked: It’s nice to see you releasing DVDs at so many different levels. Keep up the great work and thanks for putting a little care into some of your older titles.
