Review:
A bourbon-fueled (...on my end...) discussion of the intricacies of the new "Magic Mike II" trailer led my wife and I to take a look at the "Dancing Bear 14" last night. While this Morally Corrupt flick did spur some interesting conversations about female penile preferences and also led my wife to exclaim, "Holy shit.", when one of the guys dropped his banana hammock and revealed the goods, we both pretty much agreed that the movie itself was kind of a bust. In essence, this one features two all-female parties involving women of varying ages (mostly in their 20s) and of varying looks (...none of whom I overtly recognized as "porn stars"--which is a good thing for something like this...) that have hired as their entertainment a troupe of male strippers. It's virtually all clothed-female-nude-male (CFNM) material (...which can be hot...), as the focus is on the dudes working up these estrogen-imbued ensembles. The dancers have no problem with "touching" here. In fact, it's quite the contrary, they encourage it, and there's plenty of canoodling with their noodles that abounds. Indeed, a good number of the girls jerk and suck dick--some hard, some at half-mast, some coated with whip cream, some not--throughout. It further seems that the shtick of this particular group of guys is to include a dude in a bear costume (sometimes fully, sometimes just the headpiece) who makes appearances at both gatherings. This, of course, would explain the title. Some of the women shy away from the cocks completely, some start demure and wind up demonic, and others are all-in from the get-go. Of note in the first grouping is a slender, leggy young lady who's most definitely intent on showing off both her willingness to blow the dudes and also her ability to do the splits. There's no mistaking that she loves the camera...a bit too obviously, in fact. Both parties--one at a home and another in a banquet hall of sorts--include some of the more adventurous of the participants taking facials from the guys (...some of the looks on their faces as it goes down are priceless...), and that's pretty much it. While it can be fun at times, this release gets a bit monotonous as things proceed, and it apparently doesn't seem to appeal well to a male or a female audience, which more or less leaves it without much of a niche. In all, it's an interesting conversation starter for couples more open to such explorations, but I wouldn't bet on anything super-erotic beyond that. (Oh...and the "Extras" include only a slidesow and website list, as well.)
