Initial Expectations: Jonathan Morgan has rarely disappointed me, and Sydnee does a fantastic job in front of the camera. I’m looking forward to this one!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are every bit as good as what one expects from Wicked. The audio is clear and well balanced, and didn’t have a hint of background noise. The video is also very good. It’s nicely lit and has just a hint of grain. This is a great looking and sounding movie.

Music: The music is decent. It’s not anything overly special, but it works for the movie and is nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The menus are nicely done. The main menu has a bit of animation and has a very fun feeling. The chapter menu is pretty basic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Cupid’s Arrow is a dating show hosted by Jonathan Morgan. This ‘episode’ of the show revolves around Sydnee Steele, who has a spell of bad luck after her good date. The show follows several dates from beginning to end, and as usual with matters of the heart (and hard-ons), things don’t always go like one might expect.

Scene 1 - Sydnee Steele and Mark Davis

Aerobics instructor Sydnee hooks up with fireman Mark for the first scene, and they decide to finish their date up in the hot tub. They start out with some light kissing and petting before Sydnee moves up so Mark can tongue her clit. Of course, Sydnee works her great mouth around Mark’s meat to make sure he’s ready, and even takes him into her throat a little before letting him fuck her from behind. Sydnee climbs up for a reverse cowgirl ride before lying back for a little missionary work. Finally, Sydnee rolls over to suck Mark until he gives her a nice creamy facial.

This is a very nice start to the movie. Sydnee as always looks great and puts out some very nice energy. She and Mark have nice chemistry, and everything flows just like one would hope it would. This is a hot start to the movie and makes it easy to see why Sydnee and Mark are thought of as highly as they are.

Scene 2 - Aurora Snow and Steve Hatcher

After porno writer Kyle strikes out with Russian dancer Aurora, she’s set up with ex-professional wrestler Steve. They head to the massage parlor where Steve gets to take over for Stormy after a little bit, and thanks to the interpreter gets to give Aurora the big rub as well. After having the right things translated, Steve gets to go down on Aurora. He’s rewarded with a hummer before Aurora climbs up to ride him reverse cowgirl style. Steve also takes care of her in doggie and missionary before he spews his seed across her mouth.

This is another really fun scene. Aurora is hilarious in her role with her clothes on, and just as good with them off. Steve gives his usual solid performance to go with it, and as usual the scene moves along nicely. This is a fun and hot scene.

Scene 3 - Crystal Carter and Billy Glyde

After he decides that he needs a ride on the wild side, Billy decides to go after satanic Crystal rather than California beach babe Shelby. They head to the bedroom where Crystal attacks Billy orally before climbing up to bounce on him cowgirl style. Billy gives it to her missionary style before nailing her from behind and letting her bounce on his boner reverse cowgirl style. Finally, “Billy” pops on Crystal’s pussy.

This is another pretty good scene, and once again has a great lead-in. Crystal puts some nice energy into the scene, but there’s something about the scene that just didn’t work quite as good for me. Maybe it’s because Billy just seemed to be there (except for when Randy Spears has to take over for him as you see in the behind the scenes) or maybe it’s because with the lead-in for Crystal it seems like the scene should have been dirtier. This is a pretty good scene, but not quite as good as some of the other scenes.

Scene 4 - Nicole Sheridan and Voodoo

Sleazy record producer Voodoo sets his sights on country bumpkin and aspiring singer Nicole in the penultimate scene. After having her try to sing a little, he shows her a new technique for loosening up her throat. Nicole is a little nervous when she gets on her knees and sees the size of Voodoo’s cock, but manages to work him into her throat and give him some trash talking. Nicole moves up to ride Voodoo reverse cowgirl style before letting him have his way with both of her holes missionary style. Voodoo also spears Nicole’s sphincter doggie style before blowing his wad on her tongue.

This is a fantastic scene. Nicole and Voodoo are both a riot, and have all the chemistry one would hope for with a real life couple. There’s some very nice energy between then and Nicole makes the rectal reaming a true thing of beauty. This is easily one of the best scenes in the movie.

Scene 5 - Sydnee Steel and Randy Spears

Sydnee returns to be hooked up with Randy, who collected moss as a field botanist until he won the lottery. After a dip in the pool, Sydnee gives Randy a bit of oral loving with some great eyes. Sydnee doesn’t wait for any oral loving in return, and instead moves up to ride Randy in the cowgirls. She even plays with her ass a little while riding him before lying back and letting Randy take her missionary style. They finish things up doggie style before Randy blows his nutty goodness across Sydnee’s face.

This is a very nice scene to finish things up. Randy might be the funniest guy in the movie and once again Sydnee turns out a great scene. This makes for a great scene to finish the movie with, and is everything one expects from both Sydnee and Randy.

Cupid’s Arrow is another great piece of Jonathan Morgan couples comedy fluff. Jonathan does a great job as the host, and everybody in the movie does a fantastic job setting things up. The setups are all full of laughs, and I can definitely say that there wasn’t a single setup where I only had one little chuckle. Is it cheezy? Hell yes it is, but it’s real cheese, not a partial slab of Velveeta that’s been left in the back window of a Ford Pinto for a few weeks. The sex is also nicely done. It has good chemistry and energy, but at times it seemed a little limited by frequently going from the blowjob right to the sex without giving the girl any oral pleasure. I think Nicole and Voodoo might have had the hottest scene, and I think it worked best for me because it got every bit as sleazy and dirty as it felt like it should have while also having fantastic chemistry. The other scenes are also very well done, and there wasn’t a single scene that didn’t work for me. Cupid’s Arrow is a great adult take on dating shows, and is every bit as funny and hot as one would hope with Jonathan Morgan behind the camera.

Trailers are included for The Bride of Double Feature, Crazed, Double Feature!, Dream Quest, Flashpoint, Heartache, Hell on Heels, The Kissing Game, Knockout, Pornogothic, Satyr, Sex Safari, Spellbound, Vengeance, and Working Girl. There’s also bloopers, interviews, a behind the scenes featurette, a commentary, and all the other usual Wicked extras. There’s even a few Easter Eggs, such as Stormy showing off one of her lesser known talents and Randy and Jonathan having fun at the expense of his clothes.

Several photo galleries are also included. The main photo gallery lasts about two minutes and the behind the scene gallery barely lasts a minute. Star galleries are also included for Sydnee Steele, Aurora Snow, and Nicole Sheridan lasting between a minute and a minute and a half. Each photo lasts roughly six seconds per very nice looking snapshot or full screen photo.

The blooper reel lasts almost four minutes. There’s plenty of lubbed lines and a few crackups. There’s even Nicole doing things a little worse than she was supposed to singing. It’s a very amusing blooper reel that’s definitely worth checking out.

Interviews are included with Sydnee Steele, Aurora Snow, and Voodoo. Sydnee takes about two and a half minutes to talk about her role in the movie, her scenes, and her new toy coming out. Aurora talks a little about herself and her background for about three and a half minutes. Finally, Voodoo takes about two and a half minutes to talk about his role in the movie with Nicole in sleazy producer mode and gives a FIP. It’s a nice collection of interviews, but nothing overly special.

Jonathan and Sydnee also team up to give a full length commentary. As usual when Jonathan has a girl with him, they talk about anything and everything that comes to mind. They comment on the movie and talk about the sex acts and people in it. As usual, it’s very enjoyable and natural commentary, and is very funny without being forced. The commentary is well worth listening to.

All Access: The Making of Cupid’s Arrow was captured by Mark Stone and lasts nearly a half hour. It’s nicely broken down scene by scene and lets you know who the girl is in each scene. You get to see the scenes being shot as well as Jonathan working with the cast to get things like he wants. There’s also plenty of fun around the set that makes the entire featurette worthwhile. This is a nicely done behind the scenes featurette that has a little of everything in it.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Wicked’s DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $30 with many stores offering them for around $21. This one’s well worth the money. The movie has some hot sex and is hilarious. The technical aspects are also well done, and there’s some nice effort put into the extras. This is a very well done DVD.
