Initial Expectations: When it comes to masters of adult comedy, Jonathan Morgan is always one of the first to come to mind. I can't help but look forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: The movie's a lot of fun, but the sex editing holds it back a little being a little on the rough side.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is nicely done for the most part, and is clear and well balanced. There is a spot in the first scene where you can hear a very vocals woman going at it in the background that does hold the audio back. The video is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. There's some good care put into the lighting, and it nicely varies from being very well lit to being a touch on the dark side.

Music: The music is nicely done. It's well balanced with the rest of the audio and nicely drops out as the main action starts in each scene.

Menus: The main menu blends a little animation and a clip with the boxcover for a nice first impression. As usual with Wicked, the chapter menu doesn't show much effort and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Kangaroo Mick (Voodoo) has taken his viewers on many adventures. Killer lap dogs and swarms of pigeons were just the beginning. Now Kangaroo Mick is after the most dangerous creature of all, the female cougar.

Kangaroo Mick sets his sights on bottle blonde Nicole, a prime example of puma domesticus lonlius, the lonely housewife, as she enjoys a glass of wine. He kicks an old gardener away to replace him with Rocco with Nicole quickly moving in with a pitcher of lemonade to lure him away from his work. She spills lemonade on his pants and insists he take them off so she can clean them, but when she gets a glimpse of his package pulls down his shorts to suck his cock instead. Nicole gives Rocco some nice eyes, plenty of spit, and lots of throat as she sucks him before Rocco stands up and has her lay back so he can tongue her twat. Rocco moves up to fuck Nicole missionary style before letting her roll over to take it doggie style. They also fuck in reverse cowgirl before Nicole gets down for a decent facial finish.

This is a pretty hot scene. Voodoo starts it right with some great humor that Nicole plays into very well. There's great chemistry between her and Rocco, and Nicole puts out some great energy taking him on. The audio leaves a bit to be desired here as you can hear somebody else getting it on extremely vocally in the background, but the the action is very easy on the eyes. This is a pretty hot scene that would have been much better if one could only hear Rocco and Nicole.

Puma supermarkanium, better known as the supermarket sally, Brenda sets her sights on grocery delivery boy Dane when he delivers her groceries. She has him take the bags inside, and when she goes to put a tip in his pocket notices a tip she thinks he has for her and refuses to hear anything about a girlfriend from him. Brenda helps Dane out of his pants and goes right to sucking his cock before laying back on the kitchen counter so he can fuck her missionary style. They move on fucking doggie and cowgirl style before Brenda gets down to take a nice load across her face and in her mouth.

This is a hot and very fun scene. Brenda really shines through the entire scene, looking fantastic, putting out plenty of energy, and also adding quite a bit of humor to the scene. She delivers plenty of corny lines throughout the scene, including singing about getting laid on her kitchen counter, and had me smiling as much from the humor she added to the scene as I did from her sexual performance. This is a very enjoyable scene.

Kangaroo Mick goes to the Serengeti to witness puma barflius, or common bar cougar, Rayveness as she sets her sights on Johnny and follows him into the bathroom when he heads in to drain the main vein. She quickly makes her move on him and drops to her knees to help him strip down so she can suck his cock before taking to the floor so he can eat her pussy and ass. Johnny slides behind Rayveness to spoon her before letting her suck it clean and get up to ride it cowgirl style. Rayveness also works in a reverse cowgirl ride as Johnny sits back on the toilet before she lets Johnny stroke himself to a small pop on her face.

This is another enjoyable scene. The lighting is definitely on the low side here, but not so low that you can't see everything. Rayveness goes after Johnny with plenty of energy and enthusiasm, and has nice chemistry with Johnny. The scene moves along at a nice pace, and continues the string of hot and fun scenes. This is another nicely done scene.

Puma gymnasium, or gym cougar, Lisa Ann sets her sights on Chris as he lifts weights wearing a yellow and turquoise outfit complete with bright yellow pumps. She isn't happy when younger rival AnnMarie Rios arrives to give her a little competition, and scares her off before she moves over to suggest a lower impact workout with Chris where he won't have to worry about his bad knees as at. She quickly starts sucking and stroking him before riding him cowgirl style, and then gets on all fours for him to take her from behind. Lisa Ann also rides Chris reverse cowgirl style before taking a nice facial finish.

This is another enjoyable and amusing scene. The “challenge” between Lisa Ann and AnnMarie is quite amusing with Lisa Ann kicking things up a bit from her previous antics. She does just as good of a job when it comes to the sex, and keeps things moving pretty well with some nice energy. This is yet another nicely done and fun scene.

Kangaroo Mick goes deep into the belly of the best to become one with the cougar in an attempt to understand it for the final scene. Voodoo tries out his special camera glasses to give viewers a look at what it's like to be stalked by a cougar before heading to exotic Priya's home claiming to be selling magazine subscriptions to save the rain forest. She quickly invites him in and when they talk and he mentions being from “down under” Priya decides to make a trip there. She helps Voodoo's cock out of his pants and eagerly starts to lick, suck, and stroke it before laying back so he can lick her pussy. Voodoo gets up to fuck Priya missionary style before rolling her over to take her from behind. Priya also rides him reverse cowgirl style while hollering away before getting down and letting him spew his seed over her face and tits.

This is yet another enjoyable scene. Once again the opening is light and fun and gives the cougar being observed a chance to show off her technique. Priya doesn't hold anything back in either her energy or her vocals, and although the vocals seem a bit over the top they aren't so over the top that they hold the scene back. This is a very nice scene to end the movie with.

The Cougar Hunter is a fun little fuck flick. It's been a while since I've seen a Jonathan Morgan comedy, and this one reminds me of why I used to look forward to them so much. The setups are simple but a lot of fun with Voodoo being a large reason why they work so well. He plays up the cheese factor extremely well while doing a foreign accent better and more consistently than a lot of mainstream actors have been able to. The female cast does just as good of a job with the setups, and kept a smile on my face through every scene's lead-in. I think Brenda James might have been my favorite here, but there really isn't a bad scene in the movie. That said, the scenes are also a bit limited and rough, as the positions seem to be followed a little too rigidly with most of the scenes going from blowjob to missionary to doggie to one of the cowgirls and the editing seemed a little choppy. With the movie not quite lasting an hour and a half it seems like there should have been enough time here to include a few more of the position changes to give the action a smoother flow, and it's always nice to mix up the positions a little. The Cougar Hunter has a few little flaws, but it's still a very enjoyable porn comedy that's worth checking out.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for The Cougar Hunter, Seduction, Heavy or Hell, Raunchy In Rio, Backdoor to Brazil, Se7en Deadly Sins, Wedding Bell Blues, and Carpool. The photo gallery lasts about four and a quarter minutes with about seven seconds per nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also a bonus scene and the usual Wicked extras.

The bonus scene comes from Jula Ann: Hardcore. Julian starts out surprising Julia with his video camera and lets him know that she isn't a big fan of the camera. He lets her know that he's trying to recreate one of their earlier moments, and after playing around ab it sits back in a chair for Julia to get down and start working him over orally. Julia gives him some nice eyes and a little stroking as she sucks him before getting up, opening her dress, and laying back on the table for Julian to play with her pussy. He moves on to fuck her missionary and doggie style on the table before they move to the floor where Julia gives him a quick suck and then hops on for a cowgirl ride. This is an okay scene. Julia and Julian have nice chemistry, but the hand held camera aspect kind of annoyed me. Even more annoying was how somebody botched the transfer here. It looks like it was originally presented in non-anamorphic widescreen and then was stretched to an anamorphic transfer with the black bars left in. This isn't nearly as annoying as when a movie shot in the widescreen format is crushed into the full frame format, but the skewing of the picture is just as noticeable. This is an okay scene that's held back by a lack of quality control.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Wicked DVDs can be found for between about $17 and $25 with several stores offering them near the low end. I'd aim for the low end here. The sex feels a touch rigid with its layout and is a little rough, but the movie's also fun enough that I can't help but think that it's going to have some good replay value. The technical aspects show some good care, but the extras aren't quite as strong as one would normally expect from Wicked. This is a very fun movie on a DVD that could have used a little more effort overall.

Note to Wicked Pictures: It's great that you want to give your bonus scenes the best possible presentation with an anamorphic transfer, but this is the second release I've watched recently where you've messed it up. Please watch your quality control a little better. Also, the lack of a behind the scenes featurette after it's been such a standard inclusion on your releases is definitely missed.
