The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Jonathan Morgan is one of my favorite directors when it comes to porn comedies, so combining that with more experienced women gives me plenty of hope going into this one.

Initial Reaction: It's light and fun, just as I hoped.

Who Should Watch It : Fans of more aggressive older women and anybody looking for a laugh with their smut

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects show some very nice care. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. There's a few effects applied to the lecture portions of the movie to make them a little more campy and fun while the sex scenes themselves remain nicely clear and well lit.

Music: The music is very well done. It varies in mood depending on the scene and always has a very nice balance with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu blends a little animation and a clip with the boxcover for a nice first impression. As usual with Wicked, the chapter menu doesn't show much effort and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Professor Vonhassleburg (aka Herschel Savage with a wild wig) is happy to see many eager to learn about the female cougar. He's determined to take those eager to learn into the heart of cougar country to learn about this elusive creature and many of the subspecies of the female cougar. He gives a quick introduction for each variety before showing the footage from his crack underpaid camera team.

The lesson starts in the office, where dark haired career cougar, or Puma Laborus Persia sets her sights on mailboy Dane as soon as the others head off to the bar at the end of the day. She lets him know she has a very fragile package for him that he has to handle carefully before dropping it as she hands it over to him. Dane is worried, but she lets him know that he can still keep it if he does what she wants. Persia starts stripping him down after forcing him into a chair, and has him pull out his cock so she can eagerly suck it. The action quickly cuts to him fucking her bow and arrow style on the desk with both of them completely stripped down. Persia has him fuck her from behind over the desk before eating her pussy, and then drops down to suck and stroke him to a nice facial finish.

This is a fun opening scene. Persia is hot and adds some nice humor to the scene playing it up for the setup. There's nice energy and chemistry through the scene, but with only two positions and most of the oral sex at the end the scene feels very short. This is a very good scene, but another position and a few more minutes would have made it much better.

Puma Reboundus Abruptio, the recent divorce, is one of the most aggressive cougar subspecies, as shown by smoking hot busty brunette Lisa Ann. She touches up her makeup before setting her sights on Johnny working out, who blows her off to do more cardio. Lisa will have none of him doing cardio on his own, and attacks him to knock him to the ground and give him her kind of cardio. This is another fun scene. Lisa Ann really makes it work, and puts out some very nice humor as she stalks Johnny as well as plenty of energy and smiles as she has her way with him. The camera work is well done and the addition of a third position and a couple more minutes it to come out well ahead of the opening scene. This is a hot and fun scene that worked every bit as well as I hoped it would.

The Puma Moretis , the ghost cougar, is known to haunt the living. Unpaid intern sets himself out as bait to draw out the ghost cougar after a team of ghost hunters rigs the house to be able to capture proof of the ghost cougar's existence. Soon after dirty blonde Payton starts to appear around the couch in sexy white lingerie before telling him to just let it happen as she appears on the couch next to him, slides off his pants, and eagerly starts to suck and stroke his cock. Joey fucks her doggie style before letting her get on top for a reverse cowgirl ride. Payton also lays back to take it missionary style as well as getting on all fours for a bit of doggie fucking. Finally she gets down for a very happily received facial before sucking out the last bit.

This is another hot and fun scene. The setup portions of the scene are done with some very nice production values to help turn what could have been an overly corny (in the bad way) scene into a hot and enjoyable scene. There's nice chemistry between Payton and Joey, and they put out some nice energy and vocals as they fuck. This is another well done scene.

Puma Pedis Matrice, or the soccer mom, is known for her nearly unlimited energy reserves and shows up for the penultimate lesson. Brunette Raquel isn't happy with how ref Tommy is calling the game, and invites him back to her minivan for an eye exam. She joins him in the back of her van and pulls up her top to show him her eye chart, and Tommy quickly blows the whistle for “game on” before moving in to suck her tits. This is yet another hot and fun scene. Raquel and Tommy play into the opening very well to give it plenty of humor, and put out some very nice energy for the spacial limitations of the back of a minvan. Raquel gets a little over the top with the vocals, but sadly that isn't too unusual with cougar releases. This is a hot and fun scene, but it also lags slightly behind some of the other scenes.

Bringing the lesson to a close is Puma Reproba Juvenilis Compelitis, the competitive cougar who views all females as rivals including her own offspring. As busty bottle blonde Diamond's daughter Kara eyes pool boy Pike, Diamond moves in to claim him as her own and makes sure to get her daughter out of the way. She and Pike kiss before they move to a pool chair so he can eat her pussy as she vocally urges him on with plenty of dirty talk. Diamond sucks him in return before riding Pike's prick reverse cowgirl style and then gets on all fours to take it doggie style. She also bounces on his bone cowgirl style before getting down to suck and stroke him to a very impressive pop over and around her face.

This is a good final scene. Diamond does a great job playing up the competitive aspect of the scene and is nicely joined by Kara Novak for a fun setup. She puts out plenty of energy and vocals as she takes on Pike, and I was more than surprised at the great load Pike put out to finish the scene. This is a good scene to close the movie.

Cougar 101 is a fun and hot little fuck flick. The “fun” and “hot” part should be no surprise with Jonathan Morgan behind the camera, as he's put out some of the best porn comedies ever made, and he has plenty of help from the cast. Both the male and female cast play into the setups very well to give it some nice humor, and Herschel Savage and his Einstein wig is a riot as the professor introducing the scenes. Although a couple of the scenes fall a touch short, with Persia's scene standing out most notably with its short running time and limited positions, most of the movie has a nice pace and a good flow. The surprising part is that the “little” part stands out just as much, and does so right from the start. The movie doesn't even last an hour and a half, and that short running time really stood out with how short Persia's scene felt. There's some nicely done production values to this release, but they're never anything extremely complicated or expensive looking that should have held this release back from some slightly longer scenes or better yet, a sixth scene. Cougar 101 is a hot and fun movie that shows some very nice care, but it also comes out a little on the short side.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Mobster's Ball 2, 30 Love, Cougar 101, Bottoms Up in Brazil, Wet & Wild in Rio, Girl Meets Boy, Writer's Bullpen, The Cougar Hunter, and Heaven or Hell. The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with about seven seconds per nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also a bonus scene and the usual Wicked extras.

The bonus scene comes from the highly amusing The Cougar Hunter. Puma gymnasium, or gym cougar, Lisa Ann sets her sights on Chris as he lifts weights wearing a yellow and turquoise outfit complete with bright yellow pumps. She isn't happy when younger rival AnnMarie Rios arrives to give her a little competition, and scares her off before she moves over to suggest a lower impact workout with Chris where he won't have to worry about his bad knees as at. She quickly starts sucking and stroking him before riding him cowgirl style, and then gets on all fours for him to take her from behind. Lisa Ann also rides Chris reverse cowgirl style before taking a nice facial finish.

This is a great scene scene. The “challenge” between Lisa Ann and AnnMarie is quite amusing with Lisa Ann kicking things up a bit from her previous antics. She does just as good of a job when it comes to the sex, and keeps things moving pretty well with some nice energy. This is a very nicely done and fun scene that works as a great bonus scene for this release.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Wicked DVDs can be found for between about $17 and $25 with several stores offering them near the low end. Aim low or rent this one before you buy it. The movie is fun with nicely done sex, but this price point seems a little high for a movie that doesn't even last an hour and a half with only a bonus scene for the effort put into the extras. Thankfully the technical aspects show the usual care one expect from Wicked Pictures. This is a fun and hot release, but it just seems a little too slim.

Note to Wicked Pictures: If you're going to put out a movie that doesn't even last an hour and a half I hope you put a little more effort into your extras in the future.
